Bought for my 5 year old granddaughter - And they have definitely helped improve her ability to identify the shorter high frequency words - With regular use, a child gets to instantly recognise a word, & then use in a short sentence written on the card - A good teaching aid, but should be used alongside "phonics" method - Cards Delivered quickly - Safely Packaged - Highly Recommend - I must recognise "Mum" for all the time she's devoted to teaching my granddaughter - She's doing a great job ..!!!

Cards have many of the expected high frequency words. The cards are very colourful, are of great quality and durable so will not tear easily. I like the fact that each card also comes with short sentences to help them reinforce the word they are trying to learn and they can practice reading those short sentences too. Well worth the buy. My 4 year old and I enjoy reading them. The cards are colour graded by level of difficulty so the child starts with the simplest words before moving on to the more complex words. It's an excellent tool for a child who can grasp things visually and has some exposure to blending. Highly recommend!

The fact the high frequency word is put into a sentence also helps the child recognise the word in a sentence.

Ottimo acquisto per aiutare le mie nipoti ad approcciarsi all'inglese. Le flash cards sono pensate per i bambini (anglofoni) intorno ai 4 anni ma vanno bene per tutte le età a patto che di inglese abbiate un livello molto base. Le carte sono 52 e sono stampate su entrambi i lati, 50 sono le flash cards effettive per giocare ed imparare, mentre le altre 2 contengono aiuti ed informazioni per il genitore sull'uso consigliato ed alcuni giochi da poter fare con queste carte. Le 50 carte da gioco hanno 4 livelli di difficolta, le istruzioni consigliano di partire dal livello arancione per poi passare al viola, verde ed infine il rosa. Le flash cards sono su cartoncino abbastanza spesso, sono grandi e robuste ma non plastificate per cui si possono rompere in mano a bambini molto piccoli. Consiglio ai genitori non avvezzi con l'inglese di aiutarsi/aiutare il proprio bambino tramite la tecnologia come un traduttore (es. Deepl app) e/o siti che identificano la corretta pronuncia tramite audio o video (es. Cambridge dictionary), basta cercare online. Acquisto super consigliato soprattutto per chi ha bambini non anglofoni, è un ottimo modo per imparare divertendosi da soli ed insieme ai genitori. Un gioco che ci siamo inventati da poter fare con le cards è quello di pescare una o più carte (più ne peschi e più il livello di difficoltà sale) e utilizzare la parola indicata nella card per creare una frase di senso compiuto.

I don't like it that the words are mixed and printed on both sides of the cards, so we cannot put them on a wall to look at , and there are very few of them...
