Little flexibility on mount options make size a liability for non-tall drivers
I really wanted to like this unit. It has almost everything I'd want in a dash cam option. Unfortunately I had not fully appreciated how the limited flexibility of the mount would affect my ability to install it safely for all users. I'm tall, and so mounting this on dashboard doesn't obscure my view to the front, in particular, I'd still be able to see even low things like cars blinkers and break lights, small kids etc. However, I have someone sit in the driver seat who is 5' 4" (the average height of a woman in the US) and it significantly blocked her view. The mount doesn't flex much and the front camera is attached only shifts a little from the body so you can't mound the device lower. I tried moving it farther over to the passenger side but it'd still obscure your view, until you start getting far enough over that it'd be a hazard with the passenger airbag. The 5' 4" test subject also noted that depending on the uptightness of your local police force, at least in the US that size screen above the dash could get you pulled over for a citation. I only took one star off for this because, you buy it knowing it's large size, but the lack more options for mounting, including having the dashcam have a bit of wire to separate if needed, are unfortunately limitations.

Has brought my 2010 Outlander up to 2023 standard
The Portable Car Stereo by OTTOCAST has changed my driving experience! This all-in-one device seamlessly integrates with Android Auto, providing a versatile solution for every driver. The 10" HD touch screen is not only impressively large but also incredibly responsive, making navigation and music selection a breeze. The inclusion of both Bluetooth connectivity and a GPS navigator fixes the out of date GPS built into the car. That was almost useless since day one in 2010. The wireless Android Auto functionality mean I can effortlessly connect my smartphone for hands-free calls, messages, and access to my favorite apps. The dual Bluetooth feature allows me to connect two devices simultaneously. The HD dash cam, both front and rear, provides an added layer of security and peace of mind and I am able to get rid of the little dash cams hanging from the windscreen front and back. The clarity of the footage is exceptional, and the 128G TF card ensures ample storage for recordings. The integration of a dash cam with a car system is a thoughtful combination that enhances both safety and entertainment.Installation was a bit of a hurdle as the front dash is curved and did not have a place for this unit. I purchased a roll of heavy duty hook and loop material and built up under both ends of the base to get over the curvature. It is holding very well and not noticeable. Even better, it is removable which the original set up was not.The attractive design of the Portable Car Stereo adds a nice touch to my car's interior, and the user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate through the various features. The OTTOCAST Portable Car Stereo is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to upgrade their in-car entertainment, connectivity and camera security combining the best of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS navigation, and a high-quality dash cam. I highly recommend it for a more enjoyable and technologically advanced driving experience.

Finally Android Auto for my 2012 Nissan Murano!
I spent weeks trying to find a solution to replace my entertainment console in my Nissan Murano. However, the AC controls are integrated, and even local shops said they couldn't do it, they wouldn't recommend it, or it would cost over a thousand dollars. So I tried this.I am so glad I did! It works great, is super responsive to touch, quick to turn on, and is bright enough to see on a sunny summer day! It operates with zero lag after 5 seconds from start up, and quickly connects to my phone, wirelessly. I have only tried Android Auto (using last years latest Galaxy.. the S13?) - but I will eventually connect my wife's iPhone to it too, to see how well it works. This unit is super wide - so it gives good screen real-estate to the music player and maps in Android Auto. The unit can connect to a car via FM signal, bluetooth, and aux (which is what I am using). The audio into my car is clear, loud, and crisp. The camera is clear and high-quality, if you wanted to use it to record your drives. I opted to not set up the backup camera because mine works well and is integrated into the car already. There are a couple caveats though, and maybe I haven't discovered how to work around them:- There is a time at the upper-left of the screen, and it is off. I don't know where to change it.. but it isn't a big deal because the AA (Android Auto) time is correct, right next to it.- The UI of the device (outside of AA) is somewhat clunky and not super intuitive - like changing the clock, or getting the dock to disappear for more map real-estate. It doesn't need it, because it is plenty wide already - but I should be able to just so I don't have to see it. I wish I could also adjust the music player size, map size, by sliding a bar like you can on some websites.- The device doesn't boot into the mode you were using previously, which is a super minor inconvenience. Once you click AA, it quickly shows up.Again, these all might be possible, so I didn't deduct from my review for it.. the one thing that I wish I thought of, knew, or saw was how the sticky-bottom would rip my leather on my dash. This stuff is super sticky - and after placement, I realized that it needed to be further back, so when I did move it, it literally tore my dash. I will now need to cover it up, if I opt for a window-mount like I should have. Please be careful when placing it, if you choose to use the sticky-bottom mounting option. They do sell a window/dash suction mount that you can buy - and I wish I waited to use that. I didn't think anything of it when mounting, because other mounts with 'sticky' never ruined my dash. Good news is that this will not budge, once placed.Overall, I would highly recommend OTTOCAST Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Dual Bluetooth Car Stereo for anyone that wants AA or CarPlay without footing an expensive bill or a lot of headache! It is responsive, large, has cameras and clear audio - however, be extremely careful when mounting on more fragile surfaces using the stickly applicator.

Conflicted.
Pros: The device looks great, has a very large screen, and the interface is fairly easy to control.Cons: I wish the Bluetooth calling was more seamless. 99% of the time I need to make a phone call I have to unplug it and just use my car's stereo. I also wish this came with a suction cup mount. The very large adhesive pad makes this feel very permanent in my car.
