I use the mask once every week—so every Tuesday & leave it in for about 15-20 mins. And the second photo is how’s it’s been going for the passed two weeks now; there’s more bounce, shine and overall softness too, I’m so happy with this. It doesn’t leave it feeling weighed down either, just make sure to rinse thoroughly!Breakdown hair routine: First use the curl talk shampoo, then put this protein mask through the middle to ends—let it sit for 15 mins, then follow with the curl talk conditioner, and leave-in.

Perfect protein treatment for my fine damaged curly hair.I have really fine high porosity damaged curly hair (3b-c) due the use of hair dyes and bleaching my hair was really damaged and even started to changed pattern it looked wavy and I even had some straight strands of hair and it was harder to keep it curly and untangled (not to mention I had hair loss) but then I changed all my hair products and started to search what worked better for my lost curly hair that's when I read about the protein and their importance on the hair well basically our hair is made of protein and then I found this product.To be honest I wasn't expecting any magical result but I was looking to stop loosing my curly pattern and just continue cutting my damaged hair till grow out all damaged curls but... just 3 weeks after using this treatment and the manuka honey & yogurt leave-in spray and my hair has changed dramatically I can now see again 80% of my 3b curls not just that but everytime I use this treatment my hair feels stronger and strangely thicker (i know this may be impossible but it feels more dense on my hands) . Just 1 week ago i added olaplex 3 which also has help me but the biggest change to me was the Manuka Honey & Yogurt from Shea Moisture I'm so tempted to buy the Shampoo and conditioner cause my hair feels healthier and looks amazingly curly again.I've tried other protein treatments in the past including Aphogee but they didn't work so well for me I know this product may not work for everyone but to me was a game changer. Yes I'll still be cutting the ends of my hair to get rid of my damaged hair but I'm really happy to see a lot of my curls again (^-^)NOTE: This is a protein treatment not a hair mask and eventhough you will feel your hair softer and stronger it doesn't give extra moisture to the hair so you'll also have to look for a hair mask to give your hair that extra moisture boost (^-*)

I loooooove this product! My hair is thin but long and is plagued by issues such as oily roots and dry ends. I get frizz without conditioning, but looks oily and weighed down quickly with other products. This makes my hair so smooth and soft with no weigh down! A tiny bit goes a long way so I will often use a tiny bit every other wash or do my full head of hair and let sit for a deep conditioning affect. I have bought this about 3-4 times now over the last 3 year or so, so it really lasts and is totally worth the $11. Sometimes hard to find in stores, so I’m glad it’s here!

It does smell nice and is very thick, but the reviews from the parent website are true. Many of them said that this product may deep condition and may leave your hair feeling soft if you blow dry it, but you will still need to use a conditioner afterward to make your hair feel moisturized. I have 3b hair. It may be designed for type 4 curls and that’s why it’s didn’t work for me. I have use other deep masques and they left my hair so silky straight after without other products. This product is also only 8oz vs the average 10oz size.
