Robust and easy to use
This product is amazing!. Battery cutoff switch that installs in less than 1 minute for this price! Love it. The folks breaking the plastic, are just torqueing the bolts too much and twisting the plastic base. The base of course, has to be non conductive material, which leaves two real choices, Plastic or Ceramic. Ceramic is brittle, and Plastic is not as strong but not as brittle. I am glad for the plastic base. Just use your head and hold the contacts as you tighten the clamps. The leverage is the key. Do not lever the base, and you will use this switch for many years to come. Hook it to the negative side only. Works great. Might not be copper, but who cares. Spray with WD40 every few weeks and corrosion will not be an issue. you should be doing that to the battery terminals anyway.

Perfect for Massey Ferguson 135
Now we are easily able to disconnect and reconnect the batter in literally seconds. No sparks, no issues, works as advertise (maybe even better). Time will tell how this holds up while aging but currently, could not have found a better product. Only caution is to ensure you have "space" to operate the lever as well as the extra inches of space consumed by having it installed. Background: We were tired of dead batteries after occasional long-gaps in usage (like muddy seasons, stays parked). While it is ideal to unhook any unused battery to prevent slow-drain, it certainly is far from convenient, especially when you need to use the battery on the spur of a moment, but wait, gotta get wrenches and hook it back up! Foto? I hope to add a photograph as soon as its warm enough for my camera to be happy -- may be awhile, if I don't forget. ha

Fits the negative terminal, not the positive side
Good value and does the job. Will only work on negative terminal side. Positive side has a bigger post.

I love this disconnect switch
I bought one for my truck when I thought it had a leaking circuit. (It turns out that I was leaving the cabin light on.) In spite of not "truly needing" this switch, I am glad that I bought it since it allows me to leave my truck sitting for any amount of time I want and still know that the battery will be completely full when I need it. This particular model fit nicely out of the way and the switch moves in such a way that I can clean the contacts should that become necessary someday. It is my intention to verify the fit and positioning and then to buy more of these for other vehicles that I own.

Works great on restoration project car
One thing to note is that this thing is large. Make sure you have room under the hood and in the engine compartment if you're using one. It's much larger than I anticipated and hangs over the battery by quite a bit, but it's not a huge deal (for me). Having said that, it works great. I'm currently restoring a 70's BMW 2002 and oftentimes need to kill the power to work with wiring, and it really doesn't get much easier than this type of blade switch. It's also 100% obvious when the power has been killed, unlike the turn-knob type of switch.

Ok
Easy install not the greatest quality of material. Seems to work ok on my boat though.

Simple and effective
These battery cutoffs are great. My motor home sits a lot of the time and the ability to disconnect the batteries in one second by a flip of the switch is great. To re-connect simply flip the lever back into contact position and your ready to go.

I had to reconfigure to fit my Ford 350 batery set up.
I use the product to prevent parasitic drain of my RV engine battery during long storage. It works great for this application, but my new Ford engine compartment is configured to not allow the switch to fit as provided. I had to disassemble the switch and reorient the connector posts to reach the power cables of the Ford. This also required me to drill an new bolt hole to accommodate the reverse configuration. (The final configuration is an "S" shape rather than the original "U" shape.) My older Ford did not require any changes and I used the same type of switch with no modifications - so specific FORD model seems to make difference.
