Fantastic-Not junk (as many reviews claim)
Let me start off by saying the 2 things I do before I buy an item are 1) read the description and 2) read the reviews. I knew going into this that the storage cubes are made of recycled reinforced cardboard (aka z-board, as the manufacturer calls it) because I read the description, which in fact, boldly advertises that the storage cubes ARE made of cardboard . So for those of you writing one star reviews and complaining that it’s made of the very material the description claims it to be, you clearly did not do your due diligence. Don’t expect the pieces to have the same properties as real wood (or the far more notorious particle board), it won’t -why??? Because it’s CARDBOARD!!!. As for the construction/assembly, I admit I was skeptical that wood dowels and 3M adhesive strips were going to be able to withstand the weight of a vinyl collection. I had some Titebond III wood glue and a small tube of Liquid Nails in the garage, so I decided to use them to strengthen the bonds of the unit. I dipped the wood dowels in the glue and ran a thin layer of LN along the non-adhesive surfaces. The pieces went together like a dream and the cubes are rock solid. Yeah, I did take a little extra time and did a little extra work, but I’m extremely happy with how the 2 sets I bought turned out. They look fabulous and seamlessly fit into my decor. My advice is do your research before you buy something, and you won’t end up being upset when your expectations don’t line up with reality.

Great Concept & Great Products
I really like the concept of this company, but admit I was a bit skeptical of the sturdiness of the product. After all, the crates and shelves are made of cardboard-like material. So for my first order, I simply ordered two of the cubes in the orange and white color for my son's room to help organize his hoodies. The cubes took less than 5 minutes to assemble and we were ready to stack. We love the bright color scheme and were so pleased with the product I next ordered a double crate for storing my vinyl records. The box arrived crumpled at a corner, and to my dismay, the product was damaged. But as with my first order, the product had a message from the founder, along with his email. I snapped a photo and sent a picture. Within hours I had a response and after exchanging the order number and a description of what happened, I got a message from the founder with a promise for a replacement product with no questions asked! I only requested a replacement piece, but they were happy to send an entire new crate. Now that's customer service. The crates are super sturdy and store my record collection safely. I will definitely buy it again.

Good for your vinyl display
If there’s an option for the display I’d give it a 4.5 rating. Perfect size just what I wanted. The thing I don’t like is that they don’t come with screws. They come with those wooden nails and they have those stick on item that you can connect when you set it up but it’s easy to put it all together. I wish they would require screws cause you may never know if anything can happen out of nowhere and it’s wobbly so be careful when you move it.

Junk DO NOT BUY. Please read review. DO NOY BUY!!!!!!!
This is JUNK. DO NOT BUY. I do not want to see anyone else spend $70 on this. $20 maybe not $70. It is very flimsy. It has NO screw fasteners just little dowels. No glue included. The materials are all recycled paper and it feels like paper shelves. The "paper" side had a blemish on it. I cannot express enough how for $70 this is SUCH PIECE OF JUNK. I will either try to get brackets and an appropriate wood glue and try to salvage it or dump it in the garbage. Please stay away from WAY BASICS. WAY BASICS = WAY BAD!!

I was dubious...
I doubted that I would like this cube organizer for my LPs, and when the box first came I almost laughed out loud...the panels are made of cardboard and they FEEL SO LIGHT that I thought, there is no way...and "pressing together" some cardboard didn't seem like a safe way to hold heavy LPs.Well, I have to say that while I was doubtful, I have found this product to be sturdy and so simple. I'm impressed with this new technology, so far. I've had the cubes loaded to about 80% capacity without any problems, and based on what I've seen so far, I don't anticipate any warping in the near term. How will they last over several years? Hard to tell. Most pressed-wood warps at least some over years of use, so I would be surprise if this cardboard-based product doesn't show at least some signs of wear, but so far, I'm impressed.(Would love to do some stress testing on these! See how much they can really take! ha!)Anyway, based on my experience so far, I am already considering buying a second (and third) cube pair...handy, easy to use, and sturdy.

Worth only half the price
This unit looked promising at the beginning. Read all the product information in detail, down to gluing in the doll pins if desired. There’s where the main problem was for me. The doll pins are too flimsy. All went well until putting on the top and aligning the doll pins with the holes. I laid it down on the floor providing a better view to align the holes and pins, had to give the top a good tap to confirm the seat and 4 doll pins sheared off, 1 on the rear panel and all 3 on the side. Applied super glue to the pins and it went together evenly. Some doll pins were not straight aligned and rather than the tap to seat the top it sheared off the dollpins. But other than that it looks great and should not have any issues holding vinyl lp’s. Will know tomorrow after the glue and tape settles. Definetly will not be purchasing another one. IKEA Kallax a much better purchase for the money.
