I've often said that textbook companies have at least one editor whose job it is to make textbooks as boring and dull as possible. Luckily, this book was missed by that editor!It actually reads like the narrative of a good story. More than just names and dates, it tells you the "hows" and "whys" and reasons behind many events. I bought it as an aid for working with high school students, and I'm glad I did. I think my students are glad, too.I recommend this book for any tutor or teacher who really wants to help educate students.

The book arrived in time. The condition is is perfect, I would say "like new". I highly recommend this seller and their products. Thank you so much for such a valuable product in an amazing condition and great price.

Very good text book if used as casual reading to refresh the history.The book has very wide coverage over 1300 pages of heft whichcan be considered as lethal weapon. The editorializing is conclusionsdrawn are as expected from the current vantage point, but well supported.It is a exhaustive volume which I read to get a short refresher on the historyand also to read the current take on the world history.It is interesting comparing this text to history text books from 70's and 80's.My, how the perspective have changed.It is a good book worth its few bucks at the used book asking price.

The book was received on a timely basis. Far below the cost the school supplier was asking. Unfortunately, I wound up with two books instead of one. I requested to return the item and the seller took care of the return with no issues. Refund was made promptly upon their receipt of the book; all around great experience throughout the transaction.

Price was good - but it was missing a few of the pages. Not enough to cause any panic :-) But should have all the pages LOL I gave it 5 stars because it was still worth the price.
