This book is amazing. I have used it to teach an art class to women in our local jail. The women are enjoying the classes and learning different ways to cope when they are released from custody.

Gentle invite to art, scripture and journaling to carefully approach life’s traumas’, past decisions and life’s experiences that open the heart to receive restoration and freedom. Well done. Beautiful, artistic presentation for a journey to healing.

I returned t his book because it just wasn't what I expected. The book is mostly pictures that a counselor encourages a person to duplicate to relax. There are sayings, etc. in it, but I didn't find it appropriate for my counselees.

Got to volunteer to do this program inside a prison in Indiana. It was incredible how the women there were so open and vulnerable in sharing their stories with each other. By the end of the 2 hours together I felt like I had made new friends. I got to leave the prison, but the women who live there had to stay behind and I felt like I was leaving a piece of me there with them. My attitude towards those who have prison as their address will forever be changed. They are human just like us who live outside prison walls. I can't wait to do this book with my group of friends within my home and church community.

This book is thoughtfully written and integrates faith and art - how fun! It includes a step by step guide for 10 art activities with group discussions. I think women of all ages can benefit from Christ-centered discussions on vulnerability, shame, forgiveness, etc. The QR codes in the book with links to instructional videos online.I’m going to do this with the ladies in my community and recommend it for my church’s next women’s study. Can’t wait!

This course has transformed lives. I have seen it utilized in all various groups and each and every time, the impact is immense. The use of art breaks down walls that have been built up over years and it is beautiful and amazing to experience. It would be a great tool to use in high schools, church groups, women's groups, or with a group of friends. Excellent!!!

Create New Beginnings brings art to life in a therapeutic and restorative way that can be done alone, with a friend or a group setting. It’s truly amazing knowing the philanthropic history and impacts the two authors Steph and Martha are driving through the Create New Beginnings.Since learning their story I feel I’ve both supported an amazing cause and gained a sense of inspiration to give back.

Purchased this book for myself and as a gift for my mother! We have just started it and it is already sparking meaningful self reflection and discovery. I am not the best artist but am loving the chance to feel inspired and connect with god through art! Can’t wait to continue.
