The knife rates high in the areas of safety, use and personal defense
What a beuatiful sturdy knife; I love it. It is heavy but comforting to cary. Efengrow is a good company to buy from and I have several of their klnives. I am not a hunter or back packer but I love quality knives and I enjoy collecting them. My children will like my collection when I go to my reward.Thank you for making this beautiful knife, I will take good care of it and it will be around for a long long time. The steel is precise and sharp and the handles are fantastic.. Overall it is one of the best kives I have purchased.

Excellent quality and build. Extremely durable and sharp
Love this knife. Very rugged build and very functionally sharp out of the box that retains a good edge at the factory set approximately 30-35 degree edge. Take it to 25 degrees for an even higher degree of sharpness and the knife is superb while still being exceptionally durable and high edge retention! I have a few efangrow knives and this is my favorite because of its blade design and weight make it good for chopping without being too overly cumbersome. In the realm of knives this would be considered a large knife, in the realm of bush crafting/ survival/ tactical knives I'd call it a medium size knife.

Good first impression
I saw the design for this blade, and couldn't help but pick one up. I've had it for a few days, and here's my thoughts so far:-Ergos for the knife are rather well thought out. The entire blade has the edges rounded off, making it easier on the hands (but possibly harder if one wishes to strike a ferro rod off of one). The grip, while a bit small compared to the blade, and a touch small for my huge mitts, sits well, and feels good, if a bit squarish. The G10 grips are well-textured, if a touch sandpapery, and the finger choil's one of the better ones i've handled placement-wise. The ridges on the back to assist with choking up on the knife are well-spaced, and work well.- The whole blade is incredibly well-balanced, and it feels far lighter than it should. For those who consider it a con, there's a bit of skeletonizing in the tang of the knife (I removed the grips to check), with a bit taken out, likely for balancing purposes. I'll be keeping this in mind when I get around to testing it. The knife also came a bit dull, with a somewhat uneven grind, and took about an hour and a half with diamond and ceramic rods to get it hair-popping sharp.-The sheath it came with seems to be well done. It fits the blade quite firmly, with no rattle or movement at all when seated, and it takes a firm thumb to assist with drawing it out. I wouldn't hesitate to set this up in an upside down configuration if attached to a vest or backpack. Something I did notice on the first couple of draws, was some black shavings on the blade, though it hasn't done it since.TL:DR: Good ergos, Good handling, thoughful design, good sheath, with a bit of cutting at first, a bit dull out of the box, with a slightly uneven grind, and a bit shorter of a handle than expected.

Heavy duty work horse.
I'm writing this review after having had this knife and used it for a month. A great value. It has a much better feel than I had anticipated at first glance. It's a heavy use knife, probably best suited for camp tasks, hard yard work, and as a possible personal defense backup. A modern aesthetic look as well. Sheath is very serviceable and holds the knife firmly. Mine arrived very sharp out of the box. I own knives 3 to 4 times this price point without adding much more value.

Well built knife
The knife is well built and was easy to sharpen. It arrived very dull. Steel sharpened easily which should mean it won't hold an edge very well. Grip is comfortable if a bit small. I wear size large gloves and it is only just large enough. The sheath is well made. One issue with the sheeth is it is made to attach to belts 1 1/4" or smaller. It doesn't work for wider belts like gun belts or tool belts.
