Very complete and high specs, even if you're not a gamer
Update 8/25: If you're just getting this as a cheap HD TV set, it does all that, but because of all the capabilities you'll need to be prepared to spend half an hour plus going through the myriad setup options, preferably with a(nother) tablet or laptop so you can look up what all that c**p means. And make sure you use, if you connect this to a PC or notebook, a newer HDMI cable, one that supports at least HDMI 1.4 and high (120 Hz) frequencies. Especially if you use a PC or laptop with Display Port (DP) output, you'll need a converter that can handle the latest DP, HDMI and HDCP, and those aren't $10-cheap. Neither of mine did, so I had to order the latest, which is why I have not completed testing. Ignore the folks who say it does-not-do-this or that, hit the manufacturer's website, the specs are all there, and the email addresses for the technical support folks, they even provide free setup support for six months (I think) after purchase. When I realized my high end HP Elitebook, withh oodles of everything, didn't support HDMI 2.0 due to its DisplayPort implementation, and its Intel GPU was designed for speed, not gaming, I ended up getting a Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI 4K UHD (Ultra-High-Definition) Video Graphics Adapter for Multiple Monitors up to 3840x2160 (Supports Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7) , unplugged the DisplayPort (my other screen is on VGA), and set up the adapter, and sure enough, glorious 4K UHD with digital dolby. So if you aren't getting what you expected, try one of these USB3 doohickies, if that does not work you can always send it back. I am amazed and well pleased, especially at this price. I will add a star today, making five.Original review: I am quite impressed with the quality and the speed of delivery, as well as the packaging and the ease of installation of this (amazingly light!) screen. My four year old Seiki SE39UY04, equally a 4K UHD TV set / monitor, started acting up on the Monday, and by Tuesday morning I though I had better get a new monitor for my primary laptop. Looking for a 40" screen, the closest I could come up with, for what seemed to be too low a price, was this Sceptre, at $219 (plus tax, thanks Mr. Trump). If it helps the plethora of comments, and the various different Komodo models - this is the U435CV-UMR model, which is the 2018 model, there is an older U435CV-UMC, and you can check all these things at the manufacturer's website, - sceptre.com - where you can download the manuals and specifications prior to deciding what to get. And yes, it has all of the bells and whistles, including the tablet/smartphone connection (only on HDMI1), 4K (3140x2160) UHD @ 60 Hz, and 1080p @ 120 HZ. Confusing in some postings is the TV capability - it's all there, NTSC/ATSC hybrid, and Digital Dolby out an optical port.I have to agree with some posters that the sound is a bit tinny, but through the setup menu you can mostly fix that, it is not done so much to sell the Sound Bar for which a discount coupon comes in the box, that is because HDMI4 has ARC, and ARC gives you two way audio out via HDMI, so you have, apart from the optical Dolby port, another way to get digital audio out of the box, back to a receiver or amplifier or sound bar.Anyway, that's less important to me, I can tell you that, at the price, the image quality is superb, much of what I do on my screen is web and photography, and image processing just got a lot easier, especially since I am now able to work on the imagery and video from my new Blackberry Priv, which does 4K video, in full unadulterated resolution.

More Details which are missing from listing...
This a review based on about 3 hours of usage, so very early. As a computer monitor this thing is perfect for my work at home set-up. Previously I had a 27 inch and 20 inch as a workstation, the 20 inch after 12 years finally died. So I started searching and it was down to this one or the new curved 32 inch from AOC but at over $300 I not sure of the benefit. The I came across this a 43 inch, the model number a U43 from Sceptre, but there was 6 variants on their website. I contacted the seller, it is a model number U435CV-UMRD, and based on the specs, a matte screen with small dot pixel, I use it in a office so not a bright room, stated 250 nits, but some website test it at 288, I thought let give it a try. After all why pay for a 21:9 when you get more screen for less money at 16:9. I am so impressed, I mounted just above my desk at eye level, which Windows 10 I am easily able pop the multi screens to each corner. To help give you a reference, the screen is like having 2 - 27 inch monitors in portrait mode or 4 - 22 inch monitors one to each corner without any bezels. Colors is great, brightness perfect, bezel it has is 1/4" top and sides. Comes with metal feet (not cheap plastic like LG or Hisense). Negatives, sound quality like others have said is terrible, but I have some computer speakers, so not a real issue for this set-up. I wish this was available in a curved screen but at this price it is a great value. Definitely recommending this TV as a computer monitor.UPDATE after over a year or 2,500 hours of usage - There are button to operate on the right side behind the screen easy to access power button. After over a year of use, 8+ hours per business day of use. I love this as a monitor. When looking a building drawings this thing makes that easy. Colors had to be adjusted in the advance menu, but it works it is very accurate on the color now. When viewing document I scale it to 108% in word to get actual size. I find that I use it either side by side or center of the screen with reference documents in the background, along with music app. In Zoom meeting, moving the participates in the upper part of the screen I work on task during a meeting. The only negative is webcam location, at the top it is looking down at me, so I had to remove it from the wall mount, and place it on the desk, and raise the chair to get the best ergonomics. If it goes out (as other have stated) I will definitely be buying another. But when I purchased initially before the pandemic it was $180. Almost forgot the sound, it has a audio output jack I hooked it up to a cheap stereo amplifier and speakers, and powered sub. So even if I switch input the sound comes from the TV.

Knockout Gaming/Media Performance and Crazy Savings
$220 got us this beast of a TV. I love it and it works great for 4k movies and steam gaming. If I wanted the fanciest TV I would've spent more than twice the price. There is no better deal for a 43" 4k display on Amazon. I couldn't find a better deal in Best Buy, Meijer or WalMart.Pros.-Sharp picture looks fantastic with 4k content.-60hz 1080p and 4k gaming is beautiful and responsive. Average input delay is 5-8ms. You can really enjoy couch games at this price.-It looks great mounted on the wall. it is very lightweight and easy to install. I was able to use a smaller monitor mount.-ACTUALLY SUPPORTS SOME 8bit HDR features in 4k-looks fantastic streaming 1080p netflix and youtube contentcons (all liveable)-brightness slightly uneven on edges and in corners (only noticeable on solid light color/white scenes- not a deal breaker)-sound is terrible. (just turn the tv speakers off. you bought a cheap- display not a sound system. for $30 buy creative ac250 speakers of a $50 soundbar)-some haloing and color issues you would not be dealing with in a $600 display (BUT THIS IS 220-250 dollars so who cares)The only way this TV gets less than 5 stars from me is if it randomly malfunctions and stops working. Thats always in your mind when you buy a lesser known brand with less history. But based on my experience so far I can't say anything against this Display and I'm glad I took the chance and saved some money.
