LEGO UK 10405 "Mission To Mars" Building Block

Chose this for 4 & 6 year old. After working through all the Classic Creative Brick Box ranges I settled on this box for half-term (and longer) entertainment. This set has a huge number of pieces (871) - and what I really like about it is that it has the right mix of basic parts and feature parts, wheels / windows / doors / windscreens / sloped pieces, which enables you to build a variety of cars / boats / rocket ships without too much difficultly. It reflects the types of Lego see in most sets today.It works well as a standalone set, so good for grandparents too or those who don’t have Lego already.Update: 3 days later - we’ve downloaded the additional instructions and made all the builds - none which reuse any of the pieces - TV hasn’t been on since the box arrived!

You can never have too much Lego create - the kids spend lots of time building new creations, accessing further designs on Lego.com far more than any of the themed Lego 'kits' that seem to get made, displayed and never touched again. This set will be rebuilt and rebuilt again and again. Far more creative.

Great selection of pieces and lots of ideas in the instructions booklet. Great value although seen it cheaper in other shops still good value for the amount of pieces and the lovely storage box

You just cant beat Lego and it lasts for years and can be passed on.

Wow, hours of fun building. Lots of ideas given or the chance to be creative. You can’t go wrong with this.

Great set with some interesting parts as well as some figures.

This was a lovely present full of exciting play time and creativity for my 7 year old son.

My 3 and 6 year old love it.
