Great enclosure for portable U.2 drive at Max TB3/4, USB4 speeds.This unit will mount the Micron 9300 Pro 15.36 TB every time. Sometimes 15 seconds to about a minute is the range of time to mount. I'm using TB4 and USB4 cables. Speed is the Max 3000 MB/s read and write TB4 allows. Posting test images.This combination will read and write continuously at 3.0 GB/s. No caching or temporary boosting drive performance with a cache.

This product provides good value. At this time, it's the lowest cost option for attaching a U.2 device to a non-enterprise computer with a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 connection.I give only 4 stars because the fan is noticeably noisy and runs all the time. I was afraid of that, and may look into disconnecting the fan.I received mine recently, so I can't judge based on long-term use, but I installed my U.2 SSD and attached this device to my Mac and it worked.Note for Mac users: most U.2 & U.3 SSDs do *not* work with macOS, so choose carefully.
