Works as advertised
Great way to keep vagrants off of your property. Very visible from the street.

Avoid! Cheap Locks Break Easily
I bought one of these and it worked great for the first few minutes. I reset the combo on it and it worked, then fiddled with it for another minute and then the combination no longer worked. I tried a ton of things and nothing worked to lock/unlock it anymore.I exchanged it for a replacement and the replacement lock did the same thing. I figured I'd just get another piece of junk if I exchanged again, so I picked up a different lock at my local hardware store and this one has been flawless. So, if you're buying this, realize that the plastic shroud is likely the only thing you're really buying and be prepared to replace the lock.

Lock Immediately Defective
The media could not be loaded. The mechanism that closes around the spigot seems sound, especially for the price. I wouldn't expect it to be any better than it is and should work fine. The lock itself however, upon following the instructions (I have three other combination Master Lock things for tool boxes similar to this and have some experience), The new code didn't work on the lock, and in fact the lock won't even lock even after multiple attempts. I can't even test if the new code that I input in works, and when I was resetting it it started to split when I turned it. According to the instructions. It shouldn't be this easy to brick a lock but it obviously is cheap. I honestly don't want to go through the hassle of returning it so I might just buy Master Lock and hopefully if I reach out to the seller they'll send me a partial refund or something.

By Guess and By Golly
I bought this to keep the toddlers from running up our water bill so the plastic construction didn't bother me. What did bother me is that the lock didn't come with the code written down. Fooling around with it I realized the code was dialed in as shipped. All zeros?!! It fits on my hose bib so I'm good to go.
