Absolute junk
Needed it to install 2 10mm rivnuts and it broke on the second nut. Might work for the smaller sizes but definitely not for anything more than 1/4” if you have more than one nut to rivet.

Best customer service I've ever used
Had a problem with my first run with this tool but the replacement was quick and efficient and they were very susceptible to new ideas pretty excited about seeing their new product.

Before purchasing a tool look at the reviews!
I was so excited to finally get use this tool. Set it all up. First rivet and the screw that pulls the rivet snapped!! What a disappointment 😞

TOOL
The tool works great, but there are some issues with it. I mean it’s one of the easiest I’ve had to where you could swap out the heads for different sizes so the issues it will twist your wrist when you’re trying to do one of the blind rivets or I should say blind rivet nuts it’ll actually twist your wrist, I’ve had bite me a couple times there’s really you wear gloves when you’re using it that was even with the small ones. I’m afraid to try one of the bigger ones just do the fact with the small one I’ve had it actually my wrist trying to collapse the smaller rivets , so they put a handle on it I would not suggest this at this time

Rivet Nut tool good for smaller spaces
This tool is huge improvement over installing them with a bolt, a nut, and 2 wrenches. I’ve been installing rivnuts, maybe 50 or so, that way for a car project. Each takes around 10 minutes. I wish I had gotten this tool sooner. But I just bought 50 more rivnuts, so it will make a big difference.I considered this adapter and the larger 2 long handle tools, which cost about the same. All the videos show that they both work well and quickly in wide open spaces. However when used in tight spaces, such as inside an automobile, size becomes an issue. The long handled tools take 16” of vertical space and 18” of horizontal space to operate. The drill adapter tool takes 16” of vertical space and 10” horizontal space on one side of the rivnut using my cordless drill. With my angle drill, it takes 13” vertical and 9” horizontal space. With a small ratchet, it takes only 9” vertical and 5” horizontal. If there’s even less space, 2 wrenches take much less vertical space. So between the two, this drill adapter is better in tight spaces. The tool is hefty, well made, and nice looking. It comes with 10 mandrels for 6 metric and 4 SAE size rivnuts. Changing the mandrels is easy, although I have only used ¼” rivnuts. Conveniently, the carrying case allows the device to fit with a mandrel installed. The “instruction manual” is 2 pages, one for a photo of an older version of the product and an incomplete parts list, and the other is half warnings and half warranty information. There is no description for how to install the mandrels, nor how to use the tool to install a rivnut without under or over torquing it. Fortunately the Amazon listing page has some simple drawings showing the basic steps to install the mandrel and use the tool to install a rivnut and a helpful video. There is an important warning that the drill used must have a torque limiting clutch, but no advice as to how to set the clutch.Using the tool to install a stainless steel ¼” rivnut, I discovered what the large body and knurled surface are for. To get the rivnut to begin expanding in the hole takes some 10 foot pounds of torque. At this point, the rivnut stills turns freely in the hole, so opposite torque must be applied to the tool body by hand. Gloves are essential at this point, especially if using a drill. Don’t believe the marketing photos! I was using a small (4”) ratchet, which overcame the initial resistance and then quickly finished the job. Setting an M10 may be quite a chore, as there is nowhere to grip the body with a wrench. Pliers would work, but would mar the tool’s surface.Based on the tools performance and usability in smaller spaces, and its advantage over a pair of wrenches, I gave it 5 stars. Hopefully the manufacturer will update the manual to at least include the web site drawings and add a couple of flats on the body for a wrench.
