Puppy Dog Pet Rope Toys - Medium to Large Dogs (5-Pack)

You know a product's reviews are fake or incentivized when you have people leaving 5-stars proclaiming they're of "amazing quality!" and the "best toys for aggressive chewers."Package arrived at 3:00 PM. I opened it up and gave to my 1 year old Belgian Malinois around 3:15 PM. Destroyed by 3:30 PM.

Unfortunately when I bought these toys I was unaware of the extreme risk you are taking by giving your dog a rope toy. When your dog chews the toy they can pull strands of string from it and ingest them. These strands are notorious for getting caught in the dogs digestive tract and they cause a blockage. Often they will end up partially in the stomach and passing into the intestines. This situation can cause numerous complications. At best this requires surgical repair and at worst it is fatal. Unfortunately it is very difficult to remove the strands with a less invasive procedure such as an endoscopy. The reason I know this is my dog just had surgery because of these toys. He is now trying to recover, but there have been complications. This is a very stressful and expensive ($4,200 and counting) situation to be in. The veterinarian said that they often run into this situation when dogs swallow pieces of rope toy. It is one of the more common and more difficult blockages to treat. Of course you are supposed to monitor your dog with any toy, but in this case it was just too easy for our puppy to pull off and ingest enough of the toy to cause potentially fatal harm. I hope you take this as a reasonable warning and choose to find a safer toy for your dog.

This is a great selection of goodies for a great price! My dogs love everything in the bag, but their favorite is the ball on a string... As you can see! :)My larger dog, Alexander, is 153 lbs and my smaller dog, Nova is about 70 lbs. The toys are big enough for both of them! Nova is a heavy chewer. I've had the toys for a week so far, and they're all in tact, holding up great to being played with. That being said, I don't expect these to last forever. They are not meant to. But I can say that I'll definitely be ordering more from this company as long as their stuff is available on Amazon!I'm super pleased with the price and the quality of these toys. My dogs are huge fans as well!My male dog is 1/2 great pyrenees and 1/2 rottweiler. My female dog is 1/2 husky and 1/2 pit bull. Male is 5, almost 6. Female is 9 months.

Good value for what I payed, but my 8 month old german shepherd ate through all but the one with plastic attached in about 5 days. Gonna look in a different direction next time

This is the BEST!!! The quality is amazing!! The ropes are thick and tight! I love the different shapes, the wreath, the 8 shape with ball, rope with knots and the ball!! You get far less quality for other toys at far more cost. 5 very high quality toys! I have a Great Dane mix and Great Dane pup and they have so much fun with these ropes together and alone. So worth getting! It is a must for your doggie toy box!

I have an aggressive chewer. I bought the stuffed toys that were for aggressive chewers but the toys only lasted a couple of days.I decided to try these rope toys. They are fantastic. I bought them in January and they are still going strong. Love them and a goodvalve.

These toys are great, I purchased them for my 4 month old German Shepherd Pup who is in the chewing stage. They keep her interested and the variety is wonderful allowing her to play with our other dogs too. Her favorite seem to be the rope pull that she carries around every where. I had looked at numerous other sets but this has the variety we were looking for at a very good price.The fact that there is such a variety allows us to have a variety for her to play with daily. The quality is as good if not better than the higher priced toys found in the pet stores. These have cut down on her chewing things she is not allowed to by leaps and bounds. I would highly recommend these to other pet owners.

Within a 15 minutes, the dog had one of the toys almost completely cut in half and had begun pulling out strands of rope and eating it.Not durable at all. The only upside is, there are 5 different toys to destroy and leave scattered throughout my home.The toys do seem well built and made out of good material but looks can be deceiving.Don’t get me wrong this dog likes to chew, but any toy should last longer than that.

They're all nice. Leave bag open to air out before giving to your pet due to typical off-gassing.

My huskys love these toys. I found that only rope toys survive my trio. These toys are durable and last a long while.
