Xeno 50 Mini Spot On

I bought this for my rats and overnight I could see a difference. This packet is a little expensive, but they were recommended by a vet as a cheaper alternative to what they could offer, plus fees. In addition, I didn't want to put my old 'Smokey' through another trip to the vets, so all in all this was a great choice and a good solution. Besides, sometimes cheaper stuff doesn't always work so well and often turns out to be a false economy. Contains 9 pipettes of spot on treatment for small animals and birds. It's for the prevention and treatment of common internal and external parasites. These include parasites that cause ear disease in rabbit and ferrets, and mites that cause skin disease in guinea pigs, rabbits and rodents. Also mange in guinea pigs and walking dandruff in rabbits. It is also used in many species for the control of mites, roundworm and lice. I found it easy to break of the seal of a pipette with one hand, and to administer on the back of the neck. Just make sure you weigh your furry in order to calculate the correct dosage, as this is strong stuff.

Had to order 3 packs and will need 3 more in few weeks to continue the treatment. True, it's pricey, especially if you have a mini fluffy zoo in the house and need an emergency treatment, but works wonders!! this flea treatment not only treats ectoparasites but endoparasites aswell it was recommended by my college animal care lecturer and is the only flea treatment i use fir my hamster now and i have recommended the one above this one for my nans rabbits the 450 version and can even be used on birds! so i will recomend to everyone i know, very pleased.

I have one thing against this product and this is not enough information? it says do not overdose, this is all it says, what it should say is your animal will die if you overdose. Even my vet did not tell me this. I had a hamster which died from an overdose of this on Monday, I need to warn others of what it should say in the instruction leaflet. Each small container has 15 drops inside, if its a hamster 9 drops then empty 6 drops out before putting on the hamster then there is no danger of overdose. If you accidently overdose wash it off the hamster straight away otherwise your hamster will die in pain and finally go into seizures and die a painful death. There is no antidote. This should be in the instruction leaflet it is appalling and irresponsible of the company who make this product not to state this, also vets should warn you of this when they prescribe this for you to use at home.
