WELDTITE CYCLO Spoke Thread Rolling Machine - Suitable for 12, 13 & 14 Gauge Spoke Thread Rolling Heads

The Thread Rolling Head is as expected ,ie , it`s primary function is to roll a thread unto a 14g spoke, which it achieves admirably

Had to tighten the collet nut to the point its thread was stripping just to get it to touch a spoke (sapim 14g 2mm), tighten way more to start rolling, which is not a quality thread at all, metal flakes from the spoke, absolutely butchers a thread to the spoke if you can get it to work. Ive had to constantly remove the roller head and adjust the collet nut to get it to thread and completely readjust it for the next spoke. 2 hours spent resulting in 1 usable spoke and 1 butchered spoke with a flat spot. RETURN The roller head is a loose fit to the cyclo tool body and due to this it orbits off centre, you can see this easily as the spoke visibly wobbles when trying to thread. Overall its not a well engineered tool, it could just be the head I have received is bad but Im not going to waste my money or spokes on this tool

What a great product. Sick of never finding the right length of spoke, I just make my own having bought a batch 300mm+ Spokes that I cut and roll.

A highly versatile device for the home bike building enthusiast. I threaded 40 spokes in an afternoon with only the help of a pair of pliers, this and my cordless drill. It has to be said that I thoroughly greased the tool to get EHL (elastohydrodynamic lubrication) as the roller pins are quite small.

I at least expected 40 cuts. I am rebuilding a full bike wheel, this would be very costly. I might as well take to the Bike Shop at that price it would cost me loads to keep cutting like that. Put better cutting blades in..

El producto es de buena calidad y de buen material, especial para roscar radios de bicicletas.

Habe heute die ersten 36 Speichen mit 2 mm Durchmesser auf Maß gekürzt und neue Gewinde aufgerollt. Es hat tadellos funktioniert. Am besten einen Akkuschrauber benutzen, damit geht es am einfachsten. Ich habe die Gewinde in 3 Stufen aufgerollt. Und vor allem wichtig....die Rollköpfe immer gut ölen. Sonst hat man nicht lange Freude daran.

Questa testina e' un attrezzo favoloso, ho trasformato una ruota Campagnolo Neutron, ho prolungato le filettature di tutti i raggi e ho messo i nippli che escono dal cerchio in modo da registrare la ruota senza smontare la copertura. Una volta sono rimasto a terra per la rottura di un raggio perche' la ruota toccava vicino al telaio. Adesso quando esco mi sento piu' sicuro.

Wollte kleineres Gewinde aufwälzen, 2mm Durchmesser ist nicht damit machbar. Wwurde aber problmlos zurückgenommen.
