Prime-Line PL 15685 Window Grid Retainer Pins (25 Pack)

I have an older Marvin sliding glass door that has two large wooden grids that simulate little panes of glass in the door. Over the years the little pins have one by one disappeared until recently the grids started to fall off the door! I tried a local independent Marvin dealer and discovered that they had gone out of business. While sitting in the parking lot wondering what to do I pulled out my phone, went to the Amazon app and searched for grid pins. Lo and behold these were displayed. Later I got home and went on to do a further search and, since I needed 12 of them, bought this bulk pack...there were other options but went with these. The little plastic box included the pins and the plastic sleeves that go in the holes (I didn't need to use those as my sleeves are still in place). My biggest fear was that they would not fit the existing sleeves or holes but they fit perfectly and my grids are now, again, secure in the door frames. Plus now I have backups when the next one gets lost! I'm very happy!

Did not take much to convince me of the value. Perfect fit based upon measurements of the pins I had left. The reason for the purchase is that, after a couple of removals for window washing, the pins break off from the plastic parts. It seems not a problem of design, its just that if you push them in hard, you pull them out hard also, and the design isn't up to that.That said, packs like this are inexpensive and they look as good or better than the originals, and I can use 3 or 4 on my french door grills and not have to worry about it again for quite a while.Recommended: this item in this quantity.

My pins were old, out dated & breaking. Purchased these and worked like a charm. No more grids hitting me in the head when I open the windows! I can enjoy the fresh air & confidently open my windows without wearing a helmet! 🤣 Great product!

The pins in my wood grid were beginning to bust and create a problem with my sliding glass doors. These fit the grids and hold the grids in place perfectly. So happy with my purchase.

They work great. I had a bunch of windows whose screen pins were broken and these worked as expected. Easy to replace the bad ones with these.

Exactly what I needed to replace the broken pins I had on my window grating on my wood french doors. You don't need to replace both pieces if just the pin is broken. Perfect fit.

Worked for wooden window slats that had broken pins. I only used the pins. Needed a long pushpin and this was it. Only needed a couple, but will keep the rest in case these break. Decent quality.

Unfortunately, the plastic part on these don't fit in our grids. I'm not going to drill new holes on all of our grids just to fit these. Total waste of money.

Once I figured out what they were called, I was surprised that Amazon actually had the direct replacement. Our window screens are an odd fit as they are very thin and sit too close to the edge of the frame to use the plastic insert. So the sharp pin just catches the edge of the frame , but they do work like the originals.

Exactly what I was looking for and needed! I will be ordering more cause I have lots of windows that need them replaced. Great product!!
