Won’t stay inflated
Having to put air in each day. Won’t stay inflated.

Great concept - but quickly broke
This is a superb concept (returning rugby ball), but the rubber has lost all stretch and failed at both ends after just 6 months (definitely old rubber). Had one in 1990s which lasted 10 years, so suspect this is very old stock. But it is possible to fix by replacing the rubber lengths with bungee cord.

Gilbert backwards quality
Absolutely furious that a ball bought under a year ago has broken not once but in three different areas.Purchased for a child’s birthday having had the same produce for 15 years as a kid myself c30 years ago and this piss can’t last a year. Seems to sum up Gilbert’s quality these days.Hugely disappointing and even more disappointed little boy.Gilbert you need to sort out quality of your products which used to be world class.

Well good idea poor quality
Was looking forward to try this out, this is how I received it.It’s clear it was either repackaged faulty or the quality of the rubber is sadly not up to scratch due to the clear break and fraying near the break.I should point out I haven’t actually tried it so sadly can only say it’s a good idea from the videos I watched on it but I’m reality the quality you are better off going for the egg shape that you pass to a wall.

Great idea, terrible quality
Bought this for my 7yr old daughter to practice her throw and catch during off season. Sadly it only lasted a month of light usage before the rubber bungee cord has snapped at one of the cuffs (this is my 7year old throwing and catching, not some mega forceful rugby heavyweight!), the other is perishing fast at the cuff, and it is also nearly split where the cord connects to the ball o-ring. Really poor material/design. Gutted as the idea is excellent, but the build quality just awful.

Great idea, poor quality, may have been a one off.
This is a great idea, and good training aid. Unfortunately the rubber strap broke after 3 weeks of fairly light use.

Failed after a month of light use
Same problem as I now see many others have had with the rubber snapping . Disappointed to see the fault has been reported but Gilbert are still selling them . I will definitely be looking at other brands in future
