Great little can just perfect for my garden machines.

Contrary to the product description this did not have a metal spout. It was made of plastic. I accepted this anyway because the need was urgent and the tank itself was of steel. At the time that seemed the most important thing. However, within two years the spout has disintegrated. This appears to be the plastic succumbing to ultraviolet light and degrading. The tank itself has been little used, only for getting a superior grade of petrol and using this to fill the lawnmower.None of the spouts on any of the available cans locally will fit this model. It doesn’t look as though any of those on Amazon will do so either, but I’ve given up wasting time on the product.Listed as out of stock at present. Hopefully it will stay that way. Waste of money.

Keep this in my boot to fuel a mower and chain saw, just lately i get a smell of fuel now and again, upon closer inspection i noticed the joint round the edge of the can under the the edging trim was weeping. Really unhappy paying over £25 for a can that leaks, replaced with a £4 plastic can
