Electric heating is not energy efficient by any stretch of the imagination. By using 220v baseboard heaters there is a slight efficiency increase over say, 110v plug-in space heaters, but you will be paying a lot more to heat your home with these over other heating technologies.However, there's no risk of carbonmonoxide, and unless someone is dumb enough to put something flammable on top of the heater, the fire risk is very low.This product assumes you either know how to do electrical work or hire an electrician since it will need to be wired into your house. It also does not come with a thermostat, though the company makes two that are sold separately that you can choose from.The styling and compact size is very helpful over older electric baseboard systems. Its nice to see streamlined, almost deco baseboard heaters on the market in contrast to the very utilitarian ones most people will think of.

The first one of these I bought was fine. I bought the same brand thermostat and it didn't fit all that well and doesn't turn smoothly, but it works.Installation was easy enough but the screws included with the unit for attaching to the wall were a joke. Extremely small pattern and stripped out easily. I used other wood screws I had instead.The second unit was a complete disaster. Clearly a unit that someone returned and nobody checked it before re-selling. The fins on the heat element were bent, so was the bar that they are attached to AND it was completely missing one of the end covers. The third unit I bought was in better shape but had a dent in the front panel so I returned it too. Fourth time was a charm and this unit appears to be good. I'll see once I install it and hook up the electricity.I do like the style and its too soon to tell but I think they will heat up my space quickly. The wall above the unit does get warm but this far it has not been a problem. If they had shipped undamaged units I'd give this 4 stars.

Bought a 60" heater,the Amazon product description indicated a thermostatic control comes with. It does not. Amazon does have it available through a 4th party for $10<$20 more than Amazon's price.The " DTK" TSTAT will take 4 to 6 weeks after order to receive. Pictures show Heater secured tight to wall and floor yet upon delivery it comes with plastic spacers to raise above floor and away from wall?‽‽ Is it vital??

Flimsy construction. Both heaters were drlivered damaged.

We purchased two dimplex heaters arriving in separate boxes. One came damaged. We returned the damaged heater and asked for a replacement. This also came damaged. The only reason we are purchasing another dimplex is to match the one that did came undamaged.

I ordered 4 dimplex baseboard heaters, 3 arrived very bent up, fortunately I was able to straighten enough and they worked, for the shop so cosmetics weren't a major deal.I strongly suggest the manufacture invest in redesigning packaging.

Il ne m ont pas envoyé du tout le modele que j ai choisis ni la bonne longueur ,par chance j en avais besoin d un autre dans une autres piece ou il va convenir sinon j aurais du payer 30$ pour le retourner et pourtant c leur erreur 😩😩
