A lot of amazing details in slow motion. The hummingbird getting attacked by the bees was why I wanted this video. The Rain drops hitting the bees was incredible in slow motion. It was one of the better narrations as it didn't focus on the evolutionary dogma of most all of nature films but rather focussed on how incredible unique our planet is. The theme is basically, 'One Day' on planet earth and how the sun is what keeps the life moving on our planet. No need to try to insert the millions of years that evolutionary films try to do. This was well done and there was also no animals procreating. This is a wonderful movie for children to watch and learn about creation. The intense parts were there with lizards and snakes trying to capture baby lizards but that too was so fascinating. It's a REAL life movie with no fantasy world. Stunning 4K clarity and color
Great photography and 4k imaging that allowed me to fully enjoy the maximum effect of my 4k LG C2 OLED tv.

Absolutely phenomenal!!
I bought this documentary because I really wanted to see what a 4K image looks like that’s not being transmitted over the internet. My internet is not strong enough to stream 4K content, so to test out what my LG 4K tv was capable of, I ordered this film. It is absolutely stunning. This footage is so amazing, and looks breathtakingly gorgeous in 4K. I am absolutely blown away and definitely would recommend this film to anyone. This is the kind of content that literally anyone can enjoy. It is beautiful, well made, and narrated well. Love it!

Awesome entertainment production
Sometimes, it's just a real simple pleasure to get away from the insanely hyped up films of today's digitally processed world of exaggerated antics and contrivances, and get back to appreciating the earth and its abundant variety of life forms that thrive on our blue planet. To fully appreciate the near infinite variety of life that flourishes here among our destructive and manipulative influences, one must take the time to listen up when productions of this quality present themselves. Sensorially stimulating in many ways, this disc is a masterful production yielding insight and wonder and awe on the subjects it covers.

Regurgitated footage
Having already watched and owned the Planet Earth series, I was disappointed to find out One Amazing Day is basically a compilation video using clips from previously shot Planet Earth episodes. I highly suggest buying the Planet Earth series on its own rather than this, as it merely takes bits and pieces minus David Attenborough's cathartic commentary.

Your eyes will feel what they're seeing!
I just upgraded my old TV & BlueRay player to 4k. To say I was blown away by the picture quality is a gross understatement! It's not just the clarity of the image, it's depth, it's visually tactical, & it's the saturation. Your eyes will feel what they're seeing! Also, very importantly, this is interesting! You're not going to get bored halfway through. I also very much liked that it wasn't "preachy" on how it's horrible to be a human being & how we're killing everything. It's nature at it's most beautiful.

Un documentaire magnifique, avec 2 Blu-ray. Mon enfant et sa grand mère ont adoré. Les images sont exceptionnelles en 4K. Seul point négatif, la seule langue est l'anglais, ce qui n'est pas évident pour tout le moment, mais les images se passent de commentaires :)

It’s a collage, a resume of other documentaries of BBC, but a true AV enthusiast can’t miss it owing to the Dolby Vision upgrade, I watched it on a LG C8 (stunning television) with a LG UBK 90 (budget player but with Dolby Vision out of the box). Once you’ll watch it with a LG C8 but with one of the new two Panasonic, UB 820 or UB 9000, it will be amazing. P.S. Audio is stunning!
