Wuben X3 - A True Everyday Carry
The Wuben X3 is a phenomenal flashlight that satisfies the needs of an EDC with tons of extra features. The design is compact and lightweight, making it very easy to carry in a pocket, or clip to your clothing. 150 lumens is bright enough for a basic EDC, and turbo mode can provide up to 700 lumens briefly when you need to see more. The top does get a little hot after a while, especially in turbo, but the body stays completely cool to the touch. I agree with another review saying that the clip is a little tighter than ideal, but it gets the job done and definitely won’t fall off by accident. What makes this light stand out from the competition (and worth the extra cash), is the plethora of neat features. I have purposefully looked for some of these features in a light before, but never imagined I could have all at once: 1) A magnetic tail that can hold the light up on any surface a magnet would stick to. This is made even more useful by feature #2. 2) The swivel head. Honestly, this is just fun to play with. It twists very cleanly at a 45 degree angle, allowing the light to point straight out, or at 90 degrees to be used as a work light as shown in the pictures. Twisting the head does not stop the light from working. 3) A dual emitter with both white and red. While a white light is an obvious necessity for EDC, I often prefer a red light to preserve my night vision and not make me totally dependent on the flashlight I’m using. This red light even has two output levels, and high (80 lumens) is surprisingly bright when your pupils are dilated from the dark. 4) An OLED display. It’s never been easier to know what mode you’re using, and how much battery you have left! 5) Wireless charging. This could be a pro or con depending on how you like to charge things. It’s very handy if you already use wireless charging for other devices, but if you’re a USB-C purist like myself, it does mean carrying an extra device with you on trips. Of course, if you get the charging case like I did, the case is charged via USB-C anyway. 6) A charging case. Yes, like AirPods. No, not perfect. The flashlight can rattle around side to side in the case a little, but the charger is held to the bottom magnetically so it doesn’t actually affect its use aside from being slightly bothersome. I won’t complain too much because the extra charge is nice to have on a camping trip, and it doubles as a power bank for your phone. The diffuser on top also allows it to be used as a lamp that doesn’t blind you when you look at it. If you don’t care about any of those features though, you’ll probably be fine without it. I got a black version of this light but if I were to buy it again, I would probably go with the white option. The white is the only glow-in-the-dark color, and I think it can be nice to have every once in a while to help you see the flashlight in the dark. All of the colors come with a blue LED to light up the body during use, but this felt unnecessary to me and I turned it off at times with the convenient 5-click toggle. This is the second Wuben X series light I have and I love the one button user interface design. The last brightness used is automatically saved when turning the light back on (for both red and white), and turbo can be instantly accessed with a double click. Holding the button changes modes while the light is on, or turns on the red light when the light is off. A triple click gives you strobe mode, and 4 clicks will lock or unlock the device to prevent accidental power on when carrying or storing it. I would have liked a couple of the options that are on the Wuben X2 to also be used here: instantly turn the light on in the dimmest setting (this was the same control that is instead used to get the red light on the X3 so that’s ok, since red mimics dim), and programmable brightness levels (not absolutely necessary since the light doesn’t get as bright as the X2). Overall, I’m very happy with this light as an EDC and highly recommend it!

I love it so much, this is my second one
I love my WUBEN X3 Owl I love that it looks like an Owl I love its size, I love it so much, this is my second one. I didn't know what a flashlight could do until I found the X3, or it found me, I read a lot online. First off it looks different, in an excellent way. It's not cylindrical, like most keychain or pocket lights, it's like a large box of match's, with some heft to it, it fits in the hand nice easy to grab and hold. It fits in the pocket comfortably, you know it's there without getting in the way of any other pocket necessities. It's easy to retrieve, especially if you use the attached pocket clip which works on your pocket, hat, backpack any strap wherever you need. It's easy to turn on and operate one handed, select the desired brightness, and see just how much power you have left, till your left in the dark, on the provided display. also emergency blinking and SOS modes. And that's just the beginning. There are two LEDs, one white and one red for those times when the white one is too bright or you just want to be noticed. I didn't realize that using a red light would produce less glare and be more useful in many situations where bright light isn't needed. There's also a set of auxiliary blue lights built into the case, so others can see you from the sides when walking the dog at night, or let's you know your light is charging wirelessly. Speaking of Charging with its included portable dock and 3000 mAh battery pack is easy, just drop it in, and close the top. If you choose to use the light with the top diffuser closed, it turns into a great lantern for camping while charging. No dock, any available wireless charging location will do, yes it wirelessly charges. Need more power, use the included lanyard charging cable for the X3. to charge your phone or device. iPhone and USB-C adapters are included and integrated. Perfect camping companion. There's more; magnets that stick anywhere, as well as a rotating head that's houses the two LEDs, the source of it's nickname, that goes a full 180 degrees, and its "fit anywhere size", max 700 lumens make it the perfect work light. YOU CARRY IT IN YOUR POCKET! I like this light. The only bad thing I would say, is that there is no direct port charging availability, can't just plug a cable into it. Not a deal breaker for me. Amazon also made it easy to get; all the Wuben discounts included, fast shipping, and easy returns. Don't mean to sound like a commercial but I really like this light and recommend it highly.

Compact, Clever, and Bright—deLIGHTful
The WUBEN X3 Mini Flashlight is one of those little gadgets that makes you grin the first time you use it. It’s compact, thoughtfully designed, and a joy to handle. If you’re into clever tech and EDC gear, this one hits the sweet spot. Brightness & Modes Despite its small size, the beam is powerful and versatile. Multiple brightness levels and mode options give you just the right amount of control, whether you’re lighting up a dark path or just need a low-glow around camp. Design & Build It feels premium in the hand—lightweight but sturdy. The magnetic base and clip make it extremely practical, whether you’re attaching it to your shirt pocket or sticking it to a metal surface for hands-free use. Battery & Charging Rechargeable via USB-C, it holds its charge well and charges quickly. For something this tiny, the battery life is surprisingly solid. Everyday Carry Factor This is where it shines (pun intended). The size, clip, and overall convenience make it an easy pocket companion you’ll actually carry and use. Bottom Line A smartly engineered, fun-to-use flashlight that feels like a must-have for gadget lovers and everyday carry enthusiasts.

Love and hate this light
For starters, I love this flashlight. The utility of having a light I don't have to plug IN to charge is really nice. I have wireless chargers all over my house so it's literally never a problem to keep this thing charged. The build quality feels fantastic I bought the one with the charging dock too, which charges the light through the magnets at it's base. This is another great implementation since you can just leave the dock plugged in on your desk and grab the flashlight whenever needed. Except you can't! They made the little dock so freaking lightweight that if you grab the flashlight, you'll also pick up the charging base. Not only that, but your charging cable will likely dictate where it sits regardless of where you actually want it. You legitimately need to double-stick-tape it down or something. They really should have made the charging base heavier. Much heavier I LOVE the swivel head! Enough said The controls are super easy to learn and get used to. I wouldn't go so far as to say "intuitive", but easy enough The clip is VERY tight. Good luck getting it onto anything. At least it shouldn't come off by itself once on The worse thing about this light however, is the one and only most important feature - the light itself. It's a nice, clean, white light. It's just not bright. I have another similarly shaped, though clearly lower quality light who's medium brightness is just a bit less bright than this X3's brightest turbo setting. The brightest continuous (non-turbo) light on the X3 is less bright than the second-lowest on that other flashlight. I often find myself forced to use the turbo mode just because the others aren't bright enough. It's rather unfortunate because I love the light so much in nearly every other way

Great edc flashlight
Great edc flashlight. I keep it in my tomtoc 4L sling bag that I always have with me when I leave the house. It is small and bright enough for your everyday situations you may encounter. The rotating head and magnetic bottom are great for hands free light when you need (looking under the hood of your car). I especially like the red light feature. The wireless charge is great since my car has built in wireless charge and with my Samsung phone I can power share and charge the flashlight with my phone if I need to (won't work if you have a case on your phone). What I would have liked to have which would make this 5 star is a usb c port to charge the flashlight since the only way to charge it is wirelessly or through the charging case or base. I'm pretty sure the reason it doesn't have a usb c port is because Wuben focused on waterproofness instead but I would rather have the usb c port.

Great travel light
Definitely one of my new favorite flashlights. Very High quality you can tell this is well built. Small enough to fit easily in my pocket and super bright on the turbo mode. It has 4 modes of white light from low to turbo. Easy to navigate using the digital screen to see what mode you’re in. Also has a red light that can go from low to high brightness. One of the coolest features is the rotating head that allows you to shine at a specific angle when clipped to something or using the magnetic bottom. I’ll update later with durability but so far a very cool light that can be used for several applications.

Great idea, poor execution. Do not purchase.
It’s to bad, I actually enjoy using the flashlight, I’ve had two within the past 3 months. Both work for a few charging cycles, then the flashlight itself doesn’t charge. Poor durability, poor quality. Edit: I’ve gotten the second flashlight to charge. I had to swap up the usb c cable and the Wuben charging stand. But I still have my doubts with it. The first one still will not charge. For the money spent, got purchase another brand. These don’t appear to be reliable. Edit 2: second flashlight died after a month. Do not purchase this.

I like it so much I bought a second one
This is the perfect flashlight for everything I use a flashlight for. Usually these swiss-army style gadgets that pack in every imaginable feature sacrifice weight and size, but this doesn't. I've had a handful of flashlights, lamps, and headlamps for different things. I like something small and light for hiking, something heavier duty and brighter to keep in the car and at home, headlamp, lantern. This little light is good enough for every use I have that I don't see a need for any other light. So I bought a second one. I'll probably buy even more. It's tiny, light, and bright. The accessory case makes it a nice lantern and you can save the size and weight when you don't need it. It also provides the option for USB charging instead of wireless. The clip makes it a good headlamp and in combination with the rotating head, it's easy to use hands-free. I'd say moreso than a traditional headlamp because you have more options for clipping it to other stuff. To be honest, I probably use it most as a fidget toy. Feels good in the hand and the rotating head is satisfying.
