I have purchased Walden Farm fruit spread and salad dressing for years and love them. Usually, I buy from Sprouts and they haven't had the Strawberry flavored spread in several weeks. So I tried Amazon. It's a dollar more per jar on Amazon and there aren't any returns. That would be fine but when I opened the box the airspace bubble packs were flat and one of the jars was totally busted and all the spread had leaked out all over the other jars. I wrote to the seller and hopefully they will send me a new jar. As far as the review goes the product is good as you could hope for sugar/fat/calorie free.

The color is very black and I was expecting red, and the texture is even waterier than I remember. I bought this before at sprouts and liked it, but I think they changed the formula since then.

I love this stuff. I used to buy in the stores but they discontinued selling it a few years ago. I am constantly trying to lower my sugar intake but love strawberry jelly on my eggs. For somebody that has not tried it, I must warn you that it is more like a gelatin but for the flavor and zero calories, it can’t be beat.

I really like the Waldons salad dressing so thought the jam would be as good. But the jam is just flavored water. I had to attempt to spoon it onto the toast and hope it didn’t run off. Again it was trying to put flavored water on toast. Taste was ok but consistency and texture not.

Texture is a little inconsistent

I but this spread in 6 packs regularly. They normally show an expiration date of minimum 6 months off. This order showed expiration date for all jars 11/10 which gave me 6 weeks to eat all 6. I wasted my money on jars that will expire.

This shows the old recipe on the photo - I bought this because the new one sucks! But they actually sell you the jam with the updated recipe. Now I’m stuck with 6 of these horrific products (cannot return) 😡
