Absolutely adorable! 10/10
Wowza! Let me start out by saying that I'm new to miniature-making. This kit is amazing. All of the wooden bits are carefully cut and go together easily and the little details are awesome!Quick tips!- Buy a clear glue stick. The glue in the kit is good for most things, but the flat papers were difficult to do.- Have a box of Q-tips within reach. I can't recommend these enough for cleanup.- Do NOT use an alcohol-based glue. It destroys the finish on the tiny wooden pieces.- Get a tool kit with a knife, snippers, and a real pair of needle nose pliers. Those aren't in the kit and you'll need them. You might also need wire strippers. I didn't have any and had to improvise.- Have a sharp pair of scissors! I used them more than the exacto knife.- I also used a metallic gold marker instead of the tiny gold foils. My hands aren't that steady LOL- Glue all the big wallpaper/wall pieces first. They take a long time to dry.- This is more like a 1:24 scale, not 1:20.So. Construction. I REALLY struggled with a few pieces, but like I said, I'm new to making minis. The umbrella, the paper boxes, and the tie were all hard for me. The wiring was difficult too, but the instructions are great and I got it all figured out. My detective's light flickers sometimes, but eh.I also rearranged all of the bits and skipped the Sherlock Holmes-themed stuff. This kit is definitely NOT for younger ages. Some of the tiny bits need precision. The glue is very sticky and stringy, so watch out for that. I also worked on it over three days and didn't rush anything. I wanted it to look good. This was a great kit for a newbie like me. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this kit. I already ordered Simon's Cafe, and I'll probably be getting another one after that. The Magic Emporium sure is cute... :)

Fun and relaxing!
Great DIY project. I am still working on it but thought I would write my review. This is my first DIY mini house, somewhere I read it would take approx. 20 hours or so to complete and I am well past that and only 3/4 done. I am having so much fun, and it is so relaxing to work a bit on it every night. The kit came with everything I needed except a pair of wire cutters, scissors and needle nose pliers. That being said I really wanted my DIY to be MINE so I bought some brown paints and a sponge (I cut up) and have been adding a bit of dirt here and there on my pieces. The kits instructions are easy to follow, most are photos so you can actually SEE what you are suposed to be doing. The materials are good quality. The packagings a bit plain but beautiful regarless.I am very happy with my purchase and I would purchase a Robotime DIY mini house again in the future.

Easy to build
Came with the tools needed (glue, tweezers). Easy instructions and build. I used a lighter for the shrink wrapping on the wiring. This set is very cute, I ended up gluing the loose pieces to the floor, so they don't out. Much of the tinier boxes were easy to build and a lot of the paper things were precut. (The wood is also precut.)I'm very happy with this one, it's very clean and I build it in one afternoon.

A change of pace from jigsaw puzzles
I am an avid jigsaw puzzler, and someone in my family introduced me to dioramas, suggesting I would like a different challenge. Challenge accepted, thus I ordered this Robotime Cozy Kitchen diorama.Umm I have to admit it feels a bit overwhelming as a novice to this type of "puzzle" when I first opened the box. Luckily, looking through the contents, there are detailed step-by-step instructions in a pretty thick booklet, with the pieces well-labeled on the wooden sheets. There's also a diagram of the different pieces in case of confusion. The materials appear to be good quality, and a lot of details are included to make this miniature room life-like.I've not started assembly, but it appears everything needed is provided, except for the batteries: tweezers, glue, sandpaper, etc. I'm looking forward to doing my first diorama!
