Is there any concern about the bird getting stuck in the mesh with its claws as it climbs up and down the cage?

I bought the cage and mesh net. We bought a couple of parakeets. Unfortunately the birds could get through the bars and then would get trapped in between the cage and mesh. Make sure you get a bird bigger than parakeets. Never noticed them with the nails getting caught in.

It says not recommend for large or X-Large cages but I see pictures of those with this net? Will it fit or not?

My cage is 20"x30". The net would fit a somewhat larger cage. I did not experience any difference in the amount of seeds the birds threw out. It was not visually pleasing. I quit using it.

Will this fit my cage 36” X 24”?

Yes it would fit, however I don't recommend buying. I bought 2 and they were used and ripped
