This map is well-made, compact, extremely detailed, and has every street indexed on the back. It also has a map of all public transport (boats). I expect to carry it with me the entire time we're in Venice.

My wife and I found this map very helpful while finding our way around Venice. We used an erasable whiteboard marker to plan routes and the fact that the map was waterproof really paid off in the sometimes rainy Venetian weather. Additionally, the extra Vaporetto municipal route map on the back really helped when planning excursions to some of the nearby islands. Would reccomend.

Bought this for my honeymoon in Venice and it was very handy since we had our phone data off most of the time when we were wandering around. I loved that it was laminated so it didn't get wet during unexpected storms or when it was in my husband's Camelbak that leaked, and it folded up and fit perfectly in my small cross body bag. Also bought the map for Rome and it was just as helpful.

We were able to go through and locate our accommodations. The sites that we wanted to see and even locate and mark restaurants we wanted to visit while in each area.

The map was difficult to read because the printing was too small. Had to use a magnifying glass to read and find things. But one good thing, the map is laminated, so it won’t tear and okay to use in the rain.

Streets are white on a light gray background. Almost useless for actual navigation in Venice's maze of streets and alleys. I used an offline smartphone map instead, which was indispensable.

This map is well made, of water-proof laminated material. Easy to read, as long as you have good eyes or reading glasses (for us old folks).

This is laminated so stands up to wet weather reasonably well. Downside is that the print is very small on the street name detail, also having used it this week it doesn't always tie up that well with the streets 'on the ground'. I appreciate that there is a limit on a map of this size but it did create some confusion at times.
