Amazing Even Flood
This flashlight has the best flood. It is perfectly even with no hotspots. It is my go-to when I'm inside. The magnetic tailcap is very strong. It also has a unique feature: a lanyard or keyring can attach to the magnetic tailcap.

Yet another great Lumintop single cell LED light.
The inovative design with the lanyard loop on a snap shaped magnet works very well. I have purchased nearly all of the variations of AA & AAA Lumintop lights. They all work great, provide good light and sensible ramping and/or memory. They all make great camping lights that last a long time, are hard to accidently put into flash mode, and almost always start in a dim mode (to preserver your night vision). Photo (left to right) Tool AA, early EDC AAA, this AA light, and a newer EDC AAA light. Two have one armspan of 330 paracord attached. The paracord is tied into a loop with and overhand knot. Then made into a necklace size with a cow-hitch, with the overhand knot as a stopper. From necklace it can return to armspan cordage in and back in seconds. For travel the necklace is reduced with a chain-sinets into the short form you see pictured. The Tool AA has a black cap, because in more than a decade of Lumintop flashlight use, the only failure I've had was the aluminum colored tailcap on that light. A light that turns on in transit ends up dead when you need it. So I prefer "twist on" to prevent accidental battery losses. Even the Lumintop end cap options can be half twisted into a "travel safe mode". This light looks nice, is travel safe, offers good diffusion for close up use without hot spots. It's not a thrower (long distance beam pattern). The "new feature" on this model is not the magnet. The entire Tool line can use a magnet end cap, instread of the click cap. Seems like a great idea when you need a way to hold the flashlight. But on those other models there was no good way to attach a lanyard with the magnet end cap. Some of the original and newer EDC lights do have a twist on end cap attach point, but no magnets. This one solves the problem with a magnetic attach point. Giving you both the magnet & lanyard attachment. I say lanyard but I actually thread a paracord through for a necklace loop. Because it's a magnet you can pull to detach the flashlight from the neck lanyard. I was worried about detachment by accident and loosing the flashlight. But the snap like button and very strong magnet require a straight and strong pull to detach. So the holding power is very strong in the straight pull direction and the snap head doesn't allow the sheer detachment that is normally very weak in magnets. Very cleaver. If anything the magnet strength seems to be more than necessary. Remember when we kept magnets away from our magnetic storage? Not sure why everything now has extremly powerful rare earth magnets, and my phone and ESP32 seems impervious to them? If it wasn't for the USB cable magnets and leather carry pouch magnets, I would worry about this flashlight near my phone. But those fears seem to have faded away with floppy drives...

Great looking light with nice features that can take AA and 14500s...
I loved bare or clear coated aluminum flashlights so I may be a little biased here... I love the way this light looks. It looks expensive, but is very afforadable for what you get - a reliable, compact, great looking 3 mode twisty light that can take both regular AAs and 14500 li-ions. Pros: Looks like Titanium but is nice and light and dissipates heat better, takes multiple battery chemistries, has a cool magnetic lanyard attachment system (very cool actually), decent output (don't expect to be blown away), memory mode in a twisty, comes with a GITD diffuser. Cons: Output seems like it could have been higher, but I think they were going for continuous usage - this thing doesn't get hot, but don't expect a wall of light to come out of it. LED is a little too "cool" for me.. I prefer neutral or warm tints, and I must admit that I find the slightly blue-hued output of this light a little off-putting. All flood... This light has no discernable hotspot and is of the variety that just produces a round pattern of even light. Some people like this. I do not - this light only has enough to reach my back fence and that's about it. Overall, I would buy it again, if for nothing else, to try to use as a host somewhere down the line when I get tired of the blue circle of mediocrity. It functions perfectly and for the price, you can definitely get a BRIGHTER light, but it probably won't be as cool as this one. If you're looking for max lumens, look elsewhere. If you understand that this is pretty much an oversized keychain flashlight, then you should be extremely happy. Lumintop has always been very hit or miss with me. Some of their lights are superb and some are substandard. This one is above average that gains a star based on its appearance, mode memory, and cool magnetic lanyard/keyring attachment point. Just know what you're getting into when you buy this and you won't be disappointed.

Great AA flashlight.
Just the flashlight I have been looking for to carry with my house keys. Easy to turn on and adjust the beam low to very bright for the size. I like the rear very strong magnet, so it's easy to pull of the key ring. I also like that if you forget to recharge the battery that comes with it, you can run it with a regular AA although it won't be as bright. Very well built.
