I have a tendency to avoid cosmetics which was made with too much chemicals but it is primarily made with natural ingredients.I used this for last step of cleansing and doesn’t need to use too much amount it works well with just little amount.

This is a great scrub that works well for my very dry and sensitive skin. I haven't had much luck with facial scrubs, as they are often too harsh, and I almost passed this one up. But I have tried a couple of other products from brand and liked them a lot, so I went ahead and ordered it. I figured someone else in the family would be happy to use it, if it didn't work out for me. As it turns, out this one is very gentle and I am really enjoying it. I ordered it because I liked the idea of the self-heating formula and I do need some help with some enlarged pores on my nose and chin. The scrub is so finely textured that doesn't feel like a scrub at all. It feels rich, but not dense, and at first it seems rather smooth, almost like a mask. After I apply it and start to very gently pat and press it into my skin with my fingertips, the light graininess becomes evident. The scrub is light-weight and it goes on very easily. It really does start to warm up even before I start to lightly massage my skin. The warming is very gentle as well and feels very pampering. The scrub doesn't feel too thick or heavy on my skin and it doesn't pull as some masks containing clay tend to do. I left it on for about 20 minutes, before rinsing it off and it was almost unnoticeable. It rinses away easily and completely, leaving my feeling clean, soft and smooth. It does seem to be helping to minimize my pores, too. I do use the included little spatula to scoop out about half of a dime-sized dollop which is enough for my entire face. I initially thought this was rather pricey for such a small container (about 3.5 ounces). But, I only need to use a surprisingly small amount, so the jar should last quite a while. The heating scrub is a classical concept in the beauty industry, and the rice based skincare used to be the best way to maintain radiant skin in traditional Korean medicine - there was myriad of records saying my ancestors (yes, I am Korean descendent) used to wash their face with rice bran water for brightening and hydration, so this product is really a joint effort of Eastern and Western skincare. So let's see what's in here.Ingredients:This is water-free, glycerin based scrub, and contains ~12% of rice based ingredients - bran & extracts. I am a research scientist, so I am not really sure what rice can do for the skin, but still, it has been used for brightening & hydration purposes more than a few hundred years, so I believe it DOES do something that is beneficial for skin. Other than this, it's mostly long chain alcohol, fatty acids, scrub particles (bentonite & rice powder) and it used hydroxyacetophenone as preservative, so in terms of ingredient, it's very clean, no BS ingredients.Texture:If you compare this to other scrub, it's on the gentle side. As you probably already know, the texture of the scrub heavily depends on how you roll it on your skin. If you are gentle enough, I believe you can use this on sensitive skin as well since it has very round & fine particles. It spreads out very well, and it's not thick. So texture-wise, it's very satisfactory.Effectiveness:It is gentle but shows very instant result. You can see the smoothened texture instantaneously- of course it's not permanent but you can actually feel the dead skin is removed.Tips:If you bought this, I am sure you have Korean sheet mask as well. Use sheet mask afterwards, since you removed the dead skin so if you use sheet mask, the solution will penetrate better, and also it will hydrate & calms down the skin.Overall, highly recommended!
