Mage Knight: Krang Character Expansion

great game

Not much here, and probably a bit pricy for what you are getting, but if you like the base game and/or expansion, having another character is always nice. Definitely recommend this one. I see one other reviewer said something about missing counters, but I didn't have that issue with my copy, for what its worth.

Reviewed by JD Woody, host of "Live and Let Dice" on adrenalineradio.com.The Krang character, which is an orc shaman, is a nice addition to Mage Knight Board Game. He gives you the option of a fifth character (sixth character if you have Wolfhawk from the Lost Legion expansion).Obviously you get a figure which is beautifully designed and painted. You get 20 shield tokens to mark Krang's fame, reputation, and achievements on the map. Six command tokens are also included, as well as a deck of 16 basic cards and ten skill tokens. Basically the same thing all characters have.The unique cards in Krang's deck are interesting though. Whereas you usually get two copies of March (Move 2/ Move 4), Krang has one copy of March and a similar green card called Savage Harvesting (Move 2, discard once a turn to get a crystal of that card's color/ Move 4, discard for a crystal each space you move). Also the card Threaten (Influence 2/ Influence 5, Reputation -1) has been replaced by Ruthless Coercion (Influence 2, recruit a unit for 2 less then -1 reputation/ Influence 6, Reputation -1, ready a lvl I or Ii unit for 2 Influence per). As always the card art is beautiful.The skill tokens have a new feature: Flip Back. Three skills (Battle Frenzy, Arcane Disguise, Shamanic Ritual) allow you to flip the token back up after being used, under a certain condition.Overall this is a pretty cool expansion but it is even more interactive if you have the Lost Legion expansion. Of course if you have Wolfhawk you don't necessarily need Krang. But for an extra Mage Knight to have as an option it is pretty solid!

Good expansion, this character is well designed and very balanced in abilities, makes for a more even playing field if you want to play competitively rather than cooperatively.

Justo lo pedido, añade la opción de jugar con Krang, sin problemas de componentes, encajan con los del core game.

It was written "Main Language(s) Englisch" in the information but all cards are in german.I want to be reimburse or receive the game in english !

The price is a bit high for what you get, but if you like Mage Knight, you'll want to get this at some point. The hero design is also quite different from previous ones, so it gains points on originality. Also arrived early.
