Unisex Expedition CAT Midsize Watch

Arrived quickly PROS:-branded name, Indiglo, date, alarm, replaceable black fabric fastening strap, great looking blue trimmed face + the bells and whistles you'll use. CONS:- for me, no cons OUTCOME:-The Timex Expedition or Timex Ironman have been my watches of choice for years. Both great quality timepieces and affordable. I switched back to the Expedition as the newly purchased Ironman's resin strap broke 9 months after purchase and the strap was not replaceable. Now comparing the two, I like the look and feel of the Expedition much better

This is a great watch. It is very lightweight and comfortable. I was unsure about the nylon strap because it was a bit scratchy at first, but it softens as you wear it. It has a countdown timer, which was the main selling point for me vs a similar watch (size/look/price) by Casio. The display digits are also much larger than a Casio watch of the same case size. As a man with smaller wrists (6.5”), it is a great size as well, if you are not going for the oversized look at all. If you don’t love the sporty look of the Ironman and don’t need the lap timer, this is a great option from Timex. Not paid, just love the watch! One con vs Casio is that the viewing angle. You can read a Casio display at <45 degrees, but this watch stops being totally readable at about 70 degrees. This isn’t a problem if you’re not using it for an activity like cycling where you cannot always adjust your wrist position to glance at the time.

The size is perfect for a small wrist and the band is NOT rubber. Timex always excelled in this market space with good, tough little digital watches that do almost everything in a price bracket that doesn't make you cry if it were to get broken. Everything works (light, alarms, 24 hour clock, timer and alarms). Delivery took a while, but that's cool as they are new and stock is still limited.
