OverBoard Waterproof Phone Case for iPhone 8 / 7 /6s / 6 , Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Note Series and Other Smartphones up to 4.7 Inches

I purchased this to go on a trip to Hawaii with. Having blown all my money on the trip, I couldn't afford a fancy waterproof housing for my DSLR or a Go Pro, so thought I'd give this a try.Hesitantly I tested the case submerged under water for an hour with some tissue inside. The tissue came out bone dry. I decided to give it a more rigorous test by shaking it around a lot and holding it under a running tap and it was still bone dry. I therefore deemed it fit for my Iphone 5, although still a little apprehensive.These worries soon faded as I got to Hawaii and started using it. The case kept completely waterproof throughout my trip even in the most extreme scenarios. I could swim out into the 5ft-8ft surf and film the surfing whilst taking waves on the head with no problem to my phone. Managed to film turtles swimming under my own surfboard with it. Also snorkelled the coral reefs filming Nemo and his tropical counterparts to depths of two meters with no harm caused to my phone. It's so good being able to use a large viewfinder on your phone to film these things with.Advice: No fault of the case, but my Iphone's giro freaked out a bit underwater so had to switch on the rotation lock to stop it and also set it to airplane mode in case I made any accidental and costly underwater phone calls back to the UK. I suggest any one using it for similar functions, do the same. I reiterate though that this is no doing of the marvellous case and more the act of physics on the phones internal technology.I now use it regularly for swimming and surf fitness in conjunction with a GPS fitness app. I pop the phone in the case and strap round me with the handy adjustable cord that comes with it and it measures every metre I swim/paddle.At such a low cost it's incredible value for money.

Bought this after "drowing" my old phone while horse riding. Really useful and easy to work the phone while it is inside the bag. Seems robust. Haven't really tested it yet with a major soaking, but think it will be fine. Worth the investment.

I bought 2 of these to take on a beach holiday where I expected our smartphones to get wet or dusty. In the pack you get the case, a key ring, lanyard and carbine, as well as a desiccant sachet. Though I won't purport to have known what the last item was before seeing it, it is the silica sachet that you often get in the box when you buy shoes or bags to keep the moisture away from your stuff. This is provided and suggested to keep inside the case so that no moisture will get to your device. Brilliant accessories! The case itself is quite large and deceivingly thin. It easily fits and iPhone 5 and a Nokia Lumia 925 which are the devices we are using them with. The sealing system is very quick and easy, but you have to make sure you hear that "click" or it isn't sealed. It is very easy to use your device through the membrane and it will not work very well underwater because water is conductive and will interfere with the touch input. It won't damage the device at all, that's just the way it works. Out of the water the touchscreen works perfectly. Sound is slightly muffled, but not significantly. Picture quality is unaltered. I would strongly recommend this product. It works exactly as specified and will make sure you can use your device when you would regularly be afraid to.

For circa £16 this really does protect your expensive Iphone from water, sand and dust. Tried it out in the sink with an old phone first and totally submerged the case/phone for a few minutes.... guess what, it worked, the phone was bone dry. Still havn't tested with Iphone in water but have total confidence that the case will protect the expensive contents. Used on holiday this year in a very hot climate around a pool and this kept it totally protected from splashes, sun cream etc etc. This can be used back in the UK particularly if you spend time outside in our wet climate, you can actually view the screen and use phone through the plastic cover. Very pleased and well worth the money for use all year round if required- recommended.

I purchased this case to take my phone on a snorkelling trip as I wanted to take photos of the reef and fish.Whilst it kept the phone dry it proved impossible to operate the buttons once it was in the case and in the water.When I did finally manage to get it to respond to my touch it brought up loads of random screens but not the photo screen.Gave up with it after the second dive as it was driving me to distraction and spoiling my trip.

I bought this case for going on holiday to Jamaica last year as I was going to some waterfalls and wished to avoid spending 50$ in pictures brought from someone else. This worked magically - I was so terrified at first and tested it in the bath - it doesn't really really come with much instructions but worked very well. Phone loses a bit of usability but the most important thing was it stayed dry and we could still take pictures. FYI - I have a Nokia N8 as I would not put my new iphone in it, but truth be told you could do that. I used it several time - threw it in the water, all sorts, recommended. My only criticism is that I'll buy a new one for this year's holiday as I imagine there is a point in time in which the seal will give in and that's nobody's fault, just you are never going to know when that is and for the price I think I'll keep buying new ones

Doesn't float and leaks

No es una maravilla pero funciona bastante bien. Es estanco, pero hay que tener cuidado de no abrirlo con las manos o el equipo mojados para que no le entre agua. La unica pega es que mi telefono, un huawei de tamaño grande tiene la cámara de fotos en el extremo y queda tapada por el borde azul del plástico, por lo que no me sirve para sacar fotos.

Nachdem ich mein 1. Handy im Meer versenkt habe musste eine schwimmfähige, wasserdichte Tasche her. Erst war ich skeptisch. Nach dem Funktionstest nicht mehr. Die Schutzhülle fürs Handy passt auch mit in die Tasche.Lieferung hat etwas länger gedauert.Preislich nicht ganz günstig, aber billiger als ein neues Handy.Ich kann die Tasche uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Haben uns auch die ipad overboard Tasche gekauft

This product really works. I use it to listen to my iPod touch in the shower and at the pool. It has never leaked once. The buttons can be pushed easily even when it's in the case.

この手の防水ケースを買うのは初めてなので詳しくはありませんが見た目もなかなかカッコいいですし、とあえずお風呂でワンセグをみたり、シャワーで水をかけても大丈夫でした。なんかしっとりした気はしましたが、多分結露的なもの…だと思います。当方galaxy s2に滑りにくいゴム製のカバーをつけたままこの商品を使ってますが、ちょうどいい感じにすっぽり入ります。首から下げて二日間ハードに山歩きをしましたが今のところ問題ありません。
