I use this in my welding classes and it works very well. It is a little thin, but what it does cover, it covers well. The straps are adjustable so they have a wide range of sizes. They attach with a clip so they're really easy to clip on and take off. It has large pockets that are great for holding my slag hammer and clamps. The leather is high quality and keeps the heat off very well. There's also a few layers of fabric behind the leather for extra padding which feel quite nice.

The apron has done well so far. It fits good. The only problem I have are the pockets, I was looking for one that had b4 to 5 pockets at the bottom of it with with a few at the top for my cellphone and other accessories, with this kinda material. Did not find one so I got this one which has helped me so far.

Good wide shoulder straps. Lots of room for adjustment. My old apron was always a fight to get on as there wasn't enough length in the straps. This one has plenty of adjustability. The extra pockets are also a welcome surprise.

I like the apron, it should hold up to about anything I can throw at it. It however has a flaw that is kind of irritating, and that is the straps that hold it up and hold it in place. Instead of having one adjustable strap for holding it up, and a separate strap or set of straps at the waist it has two long straps that cross at the neck, and then go all the way down through a loop on each side and then buckle at the waist. The system is cumbersome, and almost impossible to keep the straps from twisting. Even after you get it adjusted to wear, you have to fight to keep it up while trying to buckle it behind you. It would be muck easier to have a separate adjustable strap for the neck and one or two to fasten it at the waist. I do like the looks, and construction of the apron itself, so either I will have to get used to the fastening system, or reengineer it myself.
