Men's Mako 2-Eye Loafers

Perfect fit and sizes run true. A very comfortable shoe.

I have worn these shoes or something similar for over 30 years. The Sperry shoe company hasn’t changed and I haven’t changed. These shoes are really great for dog park or a movie date. Really comfortable once you break them in. Good with socks or without, however if you wear them without shoes according to my grandmother you are a pirate who wants to help the Marxists who also is a vegan. These shoes are fun and easy and and you can wear anything with them. Well anything from LL Bean or Dockers.

The Mako starts out an eighth of an inch too long but in less than a month it's going to shrink to fit your foot so don't buy it too small. Just wear them inside like slippers for the first three weeks all day long and then they will fit your foot perfectly. This is my third pair in 10 years. I still have the first two pairs you cannot wear them out. Use them for working in the yard and fishing and such. The new ones look great with Gap or Cinch jeans.

This were a good value, well made, very attractive, etc. I would have given them 5 stars except they are not quite as comfortable as other brands/styles that I currently now own and have owned in the past. I believe this model has been discontinued, thus the great price. The insoles are not quite as padded as some other models, but Sperry makes great shoes and these appear to be durable enough to last through many years of wear and tear.

Quality. Period.

They look great and go with anything. Shorts, jeans, casual slacks, you name it. They're water- resistant (after all, they're boat shoes), and comfortable.

The show has a great fit. Quality of stitching seems to be not as good as I would expect of a premium Sperry boat shoe since it occurred without any serious use...like on a boat.

These shoes are reasonably comfortable but not overly so. The leather is actually quite stiff and I had to apply Leather Honey to make them a bit more flexible. The Timberland boat shoe is a bit more costly but way better.

I bought these as a replacement and, like the previous pair, they should be ordered about 1/2 to 1 size larger than normal. I take a size US11 and ordered a US12 which fit just fine but US11.5 may have been OK as well. Note: Sperry have 2 models that look identical except these have a extra leather SPERRY section across the back of the heel. They have held up extremely well for me and I wear them in all kinds of weather which is why I needed a new pair that look better.

Shoes are well made and fit nice.

This is a well made and very traditional boat type shoe. Not a lightweight item but should last for many years. Fits perfectly to size.
