Changed the game!
We purchased this feeling chart for our 2.5 year old and were skeptical to know if she would actually use it… when we first opened it she was extremely interested and was identifying the feelings and activities. It has helped us SOOOO much during the hard moments and meltdowns that we regularly experience. She asks to use it as often as we suggest it as a tool. Really worth it in our eyes!

Geared towards very early childhood
This product is great for very early childhood students. It definitely seems to be designed for Pre-k and kinder aged children. I do wish there were more options in the included images for older children, but those are generally easy enough to customize and make on your own. I did really like the versitility of the design. Specifically that it can be used as a hanging or as a "stand." It would work well in a calm down corner or hanging over a table for small groups.

Perfect for daily living & communication alternative
My child is non-verbal and on the spectrum. Other parents that have children with ASD or communication issues, behaviors, etc will understand why a board like this can be essential for daily living. It’s mainly another form of communication (PECS/picture exchange communication). When my little one is struggling to communicate and getting frustrated or escalating while also not wanting to engage with the “talking” device, I can redirect to this board to help get things calmed down and then focused back on the device. For the board itself, it’s sturdy and durable. Can be used hanging up so you have more surface area to work with (this is great for making a morning/afternoon/night routine). There is a long velcro strip that allows you to attach the top of the board so it stands up on its own at half the size, this is perfect for taking on the go. Cards are sufficient and thick enough that you don’t have to worry about them tearing when pulling off the board. Both text and images are clear on each so there is no confusion. I did have to pop out the cards & add each individual velcro circle to the back of the cards. Velcro holds tightly to the board. What I loved most about this is the main two phrases, “I Can” and “I Feel”. Identifying emotions and learning to cope is one of the main priorities we are working on. There are numerous options that can be chosen and each is a great choice. Cards that are not chosen or being used can be stored in the two transparent “snap pockets” that are also able to go on the board via Velcro strips pre-attached. Would definitely recommend & think many children (regardless of conditions) could benefit from this.

Great learning tool!
I'm so happy to have this for our calming corner. The variety of emotions/feelings and solutions is just amazing. There are so many options and the illustrations are spot on in depicting the emotions for kids that can't read yet. The colors are vivid and the pictures are inviting. The adhesive on the Velcro dots works really well and pockets for holding the cards are the perfect size. The material for the board and for the pockets is nice quality and thick. The way that the board can be hung or sit freestanding is such a great idea. My only concern with this product is the cardstock material for the cards. It is very thin and I'm afraid that it wouldn't hold up long to being handled frequently. I believe a young child or special needs child could easily tear the cards in frustration during the calm down process. I decided to laminate mine just in case. This was the only thing I was a little surprised by, but other than that the entire product is amazing, especially for the price!
