So...I needed a Lithium battery to use in a IoT project that will use a solar panel, a battery charger module (search for TP4056 for examples) and of course my electronics board all outside in the green house (well, the solar panel is outside the green house...but you get the point). Using a solar panel made for outdoor security cameras simplified that part of it. And as mentioned above, there are plenty of battery charger modules for 3.7V lithium batteries. My problem when I went searching for a battery was that I wanted to monitor the battery's temperature to make sure nothing bad happened (like overcharged from solar panel) and was a safety backup over the battery charger itself. It is actually harder than you think to find small batteries like this that have the NTC wire (for those that are not familiar with that, it means Negative Temperature Coefficient). In short...the NTC wire is a thermometer to measure the temperature of the battery itself. Anyway, what's great is the cost of this is pretty much the same as the ones without it. So if you are looking for a IoT rechargeable lithium battery...consider this one since it has the NTC wire (note that you don't actually have to use it).Battery Dimensions (didn't see that and if you are not using this for it's listed purpose, you may want that information): 1.625 x 1.3125 x 0.1875 inches (roughly)

The battery was just received and checked out, so there isn't any thing realistically to relay about life span. It did arrive nearly completely charged and with no leaks or damage to the casing. The size is just right for the intended project. The leads appear to be sturdy, a simple gentle tug did not pull them from the internals. After the multi-meter test, it was hooked up to several smds and a 3v micro motor was used several times. The power loss after an hour was hardly noticeable. Overall the battery seems to be put together great and should have a decent life span. A great buy and a great price!
