A model Company for quality merchandise and Customer Service.
This is the best company to do business with. We purchased 2 large and 2 medium Vegepods and had to wait until our patio was finished before giving them their forever home. It took over a year. When we opened our box a year later we discovered that one of the large pods was damaged. We contacted Vegepod directly and they had us take a picture of broken piece so they would be sure that we were getting proper replacement. We had part in less than 5 days. Then we had problem with sprayer, which they replaced immediately. It is rare to do business with any business in the USA that practices excellent customer service. As for the Vegepod themselves, they are worth every penny, they are well made and we love them. Easy to put together and are very sturdy.

Going on 3rd year
I have had the vegepod for 3 years this is my 3rd season getting ready to grow vegetables. The first time my wife bought small vegetable plants to transplant. I purchased the pricy potting mix, mulch ect. You have to start off with the good stuff and keep it going. The plants did very well. Grew pretty fast. The second year I planted seeds. It took longer as they should but the seeds germinated and grew. We had a little storm come through and annihilated two red pepper plants. I planted 3 one survived. I grew squash, egg plant, green peppers, red peppers successfully 2 years in a row in the vegepod. Grew cucumbers the first year. I also purchased a small potable collapsible vegepod. I transplanted one of my squash plants into the collapsible vegepod. I didn't know if it will survive but it did. I know folks may have issue with the price but if it's lasting like it is then it's well worth it. Understand it offers quality material and a watering system with a dome that does a great job protecting the plants, the stand is doing a great job standing up to the weather conditions and it's very sturdy. I live in SC 30 mile from the coast and we get hurricanes and tropical storms. The vegepod, even with the dome, is able to withstand the harsh storms. One piece of advice. If your going to place it in the yard try not to set it up on the grass with out some footing. Pavers is what I recommend to keep the stand from sinking in the ground.

Great raised garden bed for porch or patio
This is a very well made raised garden bed. I ordered the small size along with the small frame. It is just the right size for growing small vegetables and leafy greens on a porch or patio. The stand is very sturdy and comes with casters. Both items were easy to assemble. I am very satisfied with these items from Vegepod.

THE BEST GARDEN PLANTER ON THE MARKET !!!
I received one of these VEGEPOD planters from my son and daughter-in-law last Christmas a few years ago. I have several other planters made out of wood but they do not last very many years without rotting. This VEGEPOD has lasted a few years now and not only is very sturdy but keeps my chickens out from eating my fruits & veggies. When it is very hot, I can just put to cover over it with one easy move and it keeps all of my veggies and fruits from scorching my plants from the sun. The VEGEPOD SERVICE is the very best of the best in service as well. They have attended to any questions and have delivered a part I needed instantly. I started out with one then I bought 3 more and I just bought 4 more so I can have a several varieties of fruits/veggies. I LOVE MY VEGEPODS and I would buy more BUT "8 IS ENOUGH" for now. I am as dumb as a door knob when it comes to putting things together & I was able to put these together without my husband's help, which is truly a miracle. The quality of material is thick and sturdy and I think you will LOVE one of these as well. I usually do not give reviews BUT this company is worth every bit of my time to just give a review and to thank them for making this VEGEPOD available to all of us so we too can enjoy gardening and foods that are good for us and we can control growing our own organic food in them. Try one, you will love it!

So far so good!!
We were intrigued by the Vegepod because we wanted a raised bed for growing vegetables on our patio. The "Shark Tank" note is from the Australian version of that show. It's available to view and it's a good intro to the product. Putting it together was not the worst thing to do, but the written instructions are not the best. I HIGHLY recommend watching their on-line videos (check their website) before starting so you have a good visual of how things should go. Once you watch those the written instructions will make more sense. We also bought the "Trolley" to raise the Vegepod up to waist height. See my warning above on this, too. But once it's together it is a godsend as we are older and bending down to tend to the garden would be a back nightmare. We've now added our soil and recently planted our first potential crop of veggies (There are also some on-line videos about that process). It's still a little cool here (NJ in April) but we're hoping the cover helps keep the plants alive as the weather warms up. We definitely appreciate the way this is constructed. No wood to worry about rotting! and the trolley makes it easy to move around the patio if needed. (the trolley does not go on top of soft ground because of the wheels - they sell a stand without the wheels but after you add soil it will be heavy so place that where it's going to stay!). Time will tell if the thick plastic Vegepod unit and enamel-painted metal trolley stand up to our sometimes harsh NJ winters. We would have given this 5 stars all around if we had seen some veggies growing but it's too soon for that. One more time ... watch the videos!! Then enjoy the fruits (or veggies) of your labor.

Pretty amazing.
I bought just the small one because we live in a mobile home and have small space. The pod was easy to assemble, the only problem I had was placing the small clips that hold the misting cover onto the pod, but a quick consult with a Youtube video and I was all set! It took two bags of garden soil from Lowes to completely fill it. Since this is Arizona, and now is not really a great growing time, I put some seeds in, they sprouted rather quickly, but have not seems to be getting any bigger, probably because of heat stress. I have high hopes for my garden pod, as soon as September hits us here in the desert. A great item, and not too heavy for us (two people in our 70s) to move it even after it was filled with soil. I will buy the tomato pod from same company next month, when I can start a tomato plant here in Tucson, AZ.

It was worth the investment!
Yes, it’s worth the money! This review is just over a year after purchasing the vegepod. Here is the setup of mine: we live in Summerlin, NV where temps do get to 110-115 in the summer. The vegepod is sitting in the patio underneath the roof. It gets morning and afternoon light with shade during 12-4pm. The winter here by Red Rock canyon gets chilly in the 20’s with very very very strong winds (50-60 mph gusts). I have bungee cords wrapped around my patio post to the top of the vegepod so it will not fly away. I did get the stand without the wheels (regretting that now) and the winter cover. I see where I could have used the wheels to move it around the patio easily for more or less shade. Now that it’s extremely heavy with 9 big bags of soil, that baby isn’t going anywhere. I did also purchase a regular shade cloth because I couldn’t buy the one that fits the top at that time and I use clothe pins to snap the shade cloth during the 2 hot months here. I also purchased the $50ish 3x3 watering system hose by Garden In Minutes along with $8 timer on my faucet. This system has worked flawlessly. My work has me home every other week and my system can keep growing without me tending to it. It really was worth the investment. The plastic has not broken down at all since buying it. Most plastics do within a few months of exposure to the sun here but I do keep it in half shade most of the time. My husband thought it was ridiculous for the price and did not want it. Despite him, I got it anyways for the purpose of growing greens (spinach in particular since the prices here are California prices for food). I picked New Zealand spinach for this climate and boy was I surprised! I do have other things in it but it’s now a jungle. That’s the only gripe my husband has now which I can handle. I have swiss chard, onions, oregano, and kale along with the spinach. Lettuce was in it but bolts way too soon due to the temps in spring and fall. Carrots do wonderful in it too. I have learned tomatoes grow best here in November, December, and January under the winter cover. My kale isn’t big but produces a lot. I now have a Brussels plant in it that has taken over with the spinach. We will see what it will do. Happy gardening!

IT'S NOT MANEUVERABLE AND IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE
So you should take that rating out. If you tried to move this with the weight of the dirt in the pod the legs would surely fold and collapse. Even though I have it on solid ground, I am still concerned about collapse because I have one where it appears one leg moves around slightly for no apparent reason, even though I have screwed and bolted them in hard. I wonder if they were manufactured correctly because these legs should be on all fours square and they don't seem to be. I have one set that is perfect and on the other the leg wants to move inwards towards the middle of the bed, which would cause the whole system to buckle and collapse. The entire purchase will turn into trash over that one leg. I will keep at it until I find what the problem is. In the meantime, I'm praying that it holds like it is warranteed to do. UPDATE: I love the Vegepod system itself but be forewarned DO NOT use the normal amount of water you think that your plants would need. Be very stingy with water. This system is extremely water efficient and if you water at the level that you think is normal, you will end up with an infestation of dirt gnats or aphids, which I had to contend with, but they are gone now and it was due to watering at a level I considered normal.. so be stingy. I haven't had to water since I watered the plants the first time and it's been a month now. Normal rainfall will take care of them. So, unless your plants are like withering or drooping, leave them be, even if the top of the dirt is dry. The system itself is quite remarkable and it is true, whatever kind of climate it is creating for the plants causes them to grow rapidly. I have already harvested certain items twice and the growth is exponential. Highly recommend the pod. The stand is another story. It's been about a month now and yesterday I saw that same leg that was giving issues bending inwards again. Very frustrating. I adjusted the leg and retightened the bolts. Not easy to do with now all the dirt and plants growing in it. They really need to improve on the stand part of the system. It a very expensive unit to have to be concerned about collapse over a stand.
