A really good purchase. Cut to size for me and delivered swiftly. I sanded them, drilled them, oiled them and waxed them before fitting them to an old Victorian cast iron garden chair.

I choose the size just above what I needed and specified a custom size to make it fit our bed. The size delivered was perfect. The quality seems as good if not better than the originals and the turnaround in getting them delivered was excellent. Excellent all round. Easy to recommend.

So it's no secret that some Motorhome manufacturers skimp on the quality of the living areas of their vehicles. Ours is definitely one of them. Found many issues since moving into it. One of the areas that you could say we have 'tested out' is the bed area. (Don't worry, no details here! lol). Ours is one of those slide out the slats job in the rear lounge, and sure enough I can confirm that two people that are ever so slightly overweight can quite literally fall through! Yes it was a sight. lol So anyway, I ripped out the rubbish that was 'fitted' and replaced it with a makeshift way of making the bed up using these slats. I can confirm that these are very strong indeed and I am very impressed with them. Pity the original manufacturers didn't think of using them.

These are priceless to replace broken slats on the kids beds. Felt really good quality wood compared to ones we were replacing and arrived super fast and were cut to length required A+

I had to replace the slats on a wooden double bed that had lost their spring or had even broken after 40 years! It was easy to do with the aid of a staple remover and gun, (for the slats are fixed to two rubber ‘ribbons’ running lengthwise). I made a mistake at first by not changing them all and I was told it was like sleeping in a hammock. But then I changed them all, and bingo, the mattress now feels ultra comfortable. BTW, be careful there is a right way and a wrong way to put them on. It took me a couple of mistakes before I realised they all need the bowed side upwards. That may be obvious to all the DIYers on here, but to me, with little experience and in my ninth decade, I had to learn the hard way.

Not quite sure what sheerness means is it the finish then if so definitely deserves more stars 🌟 These slats were great they are much sturdier than the first Reginald that came with the bed (which look like some sort of formed wood pulp ) Ordering was excellent as I actually ordered the wrong thing and great customer service from Sandy who refunded my original order and cancelled it and then processed my new order which was exactly what I wanted. Slays as mentioned great finish and very sturdy I would say better than the originals Very efficient delivery arrived promptly after ordering so great from everyone involved
