We love the color and the simplicity of installing the edging. However we did have issues with the spikes used to anchor the edging. We have a hard clay soil and several spikes broke on installation. Fortunately we did not need all the edging so there were extra spikes. I would suggest using a long metal spike or screw driver to start the holes for the spikes. I used a hack saw to cut the sections to fit making sure I had the joiner holes on the sections where I needed them. I plan on buying more to edge a flower bed near where these are being used. Over all happy with my purchase.

I did this backwards in that I ought to have shopped edging first, then filled in the potential garden area. But regardless, I ordered the edging right after I finally tackled the backyard corner to develop into more garden space. This edging is great. Easy to connect the pieces, easy tap it into the ground... what's not to like? Plus we're putting old tires to use vs making another pile of them that will lie in a landfill for 100s of years. It's a great innovation. I was very impressed. Had I done the edging first (which I highly recommend), I'd have had more leeway in how to shape it. Regardless, I'd recommend this edging to anyone who needs some.

I use rubber mulch around several trees in our yard. It is relatively expensive as compared to wood mulch, but it lasts much longer. We live in Florida and so the rubber mulch is bug resistant. We have lawn service in our neighborhood. The person operating the weed whacker would scatter the mulch over the yard. This product po a stop to it. This product looks fine. It is not the same as the concrete border, but it is easy to install and works great. It also cut down on my mulch cost..

I've had this installed a little less than 2 yrs. It does what I wanted it to, but I recently noticed that the top edge is already deteriorating due to the Florida sun. I'm wondering what it will look like in another year.

Yes, they are a little Spidey but well worth it. My husband loves these things. So quick and easy to put in place. Yes, there is work involved digging some dirt to get them level but once in place they look so nice! We love the gray color. And it was worth waiting a little extra time to get that color.
