The media could not be loaded. I have now owned 3 different 1080p projectors that I have used extensively over the last few months :- The first was an under-$200 unit that had manual adjustments for focus and keystone, a very loud fan, and tinny built-in audio. It came with a 100" fabric screen that I have continued to use. It's still very watchable, but when I had to fall back to it recently, I realized I had forgotten all the limitations.- The second was a Netflix licensed emotn N1 from the same manufacturer as this product that lists for around $400, currently selling here around $320. This unit added automatic focus and keystone correction, better sound, a brighter & clearer picture, and acceptable sound quality, similar to a TV without a soundbar.- And finally, this unit, the Dangbei Mars. This is essentially the big brother of the emotn N1, with a brighter image, better optics, and MUCH better sound. I still switch over to my soundbar via Bluetooth when I want to watch a cinematic movie or listen to music, but the internal speakers are more than sufficient for the news and adult cartoons that I frequently watch. Having operated the N1, the family resemblance is unmistakable, with the same basic user interface and OS, identical remote controls, etc.I have an improvised theater setup with the 100" screen hanging from the mantle over our fireplace, and the Dangbei projector sitting on the coffee table a few feet away. Because the screen is so low relative to the wall, I need to put a spacer under the back edge of the unit to angle the picture down to fit the screen. I should be able to replace that workaround with a couple of self-adhesive legs of the proper height.UPDATE July 2023: I have since discovered that all 4 legs do in fact screw out, I just hadn't thought to try it! I now have a much more workable setup.When I was using the smaller emotn N1 unit, I hit upon a combination where the built-in "leg" that is provided to prop the thing up at an angle to the screen and the geometry of the room let me leave that projector at the front edge of the coffee table and it all just worked.With the new, bigger model, I need to pull it back towards the couch to get the proper size, and prop up the back as noted before. (The Dangbei has a threaded tripod connector on the bottom, but no additional legs or screw-feet to adjust the angle.)Having said all of that, I am very happy to give this new projector a "forever home," and I would happily recommend it to anyone, especially if you need the extra brightness for watching in brighter conditions.But if you are feeling budget constrained, I can also recommend the emotn N1 at the lower price as a good compromise.

I have tried other Projectors that are portable and easy to carry around from room to room, but due to the 2100 ISO Lumens (2625 ANSI Lumens-See picture) the picture quality is great even with ambient lighting. It literally feels like you are watching a 100" TV without the glare of back lighting that is emitted from a TV screen. With the #2 10W speakers the sound is great, do remember to turn on surround sound.Picture is great even without a screen, in our loft we watch a 120" image on a light green wall, in the Bedroom we project it on our ankled ceiling which is white and in the Family room we have installed an Elite screen that drops in front of our TV. In all three situations I do not see a quality drop.Also it has licensed Netflix, Prime and Youtube right on the remote and yes the startup is quick.It is a table top Model but I do recommend getting a short tripod so it would be easy to angle the projector.

I am pretty new to the world of projectors. I bought a cheap one on a whim because we didn't want to put a TV on the wall in the living room. I was very impressed by the picture. We were using it every day. I thought to myself with as much as we are using this thing I need to get a better more permanent one. I started digging around and stumbled across the dangbei. I saw the reviews on YouTube and was sold. The brightness really is amazing. Even with sunlight and lights on in the living room. We were really loving it. Unfortunately the stuck pixel appeared just a few days after the 30 day return window. I contacted dangbei support and sent the required info they requested and the pictures of the issue. They advised me to update the firmware which of course isn't going to do anything. So now I'm waiting to see what comes next. Super bummed out because the picture and brightness really is outstanding.Update: Dangbei has reached out and made things right with a refund. I understand things like this happen. Hats off to their customer service.

I recently got my hands on the Dangbei Mars 1080p Full HD Projector, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer! The picture quality is jaw-dropping, with vibrant colors and razor-sharp details, all thanks to its native 1080p resolution and impressive 2100 ISO lumens brightness. And here's the cherry on top: it's got Netflix built right in! No need for extra gadgets to binge-watch my favorite shows. The dual 10W Dolby audio speakers are a treat for the ears, delivering immersive sound that blows me away. Plus, it's got handy features like auto focus, auto keystone correction, screen fit, and obstacle avoidance, making it a breeze to set up and enjoy. This projector is a solid five stars in my book, taking my movie nights to a whole new level of awesome!

I have been using projectors since around 2018 and I have to admit this has got to be my favorite projector to date. If you’re on the fence, I suggest go ahead and grab it.

It only has Netflix and a few other apps. you need to connect a fire stick or a computer to be able to watch any other app. Cannot airplay with iPhone or cast directly from it In any way.Big and bulky and needs to be centered perfectly in the room. In my room if I hang it from the ceiling the screen is too high, it does not auto level or correct whatsoever. I need to keep it in a table in the middle of the couch. Afterwards I bought the samsung freestyle 2nd gen and loved it much more (you can just put it in a corner and aim it to the wall and the screens looks perfect and its small, and has all the apps etc etc).Image quality is amazing, but for me it turned out to be too much of a hassle for tv watching

Este proyector tiene una claridad estupenda, tengo una pantalla de 100" y ni la uso sino que la proyecto directa a la pared y se ve igual o mejor que mi televisión. Cliente satisfecho.
