Alka-Seltzer has been my go-to for years anytime I’ve overindulged—usually after a few too many cocktails and a pile of regret-flavored snacks. It always works like a charm. People forget about alkaseltzer because it seems old fashioned, but it is one of the most reliable hangover remedies out there. It's also great for indigestion. Contains aspirin of course, so do be careful with that. I keep it stocked at my home bar. It has saved my life on more than one occasion.

If I have a case of acid indigestion, nothing works better and more quickly than Alka-Seltzer. I have been using this for 45 years or so and nothing compares to it. I actually like the taste but prefer to drink it with super cold water. It takes the tablets much longer to dissolve when the water is that cold but it is worth the wait. The cold water makes the flavor better and the coolness of the water seems to help soothe the acid indigestion. When I am nauseated, this also helps to calm my stomach. As for taste, the original is the go-to. I made the mistake of buying the Extra Strength and had to throw the whole box away because I couldn’t get it down. Original all the way!
