Sharpens quickly and easily.
Exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy suction to hold it in place. Sharpened my kitchen knives with a few quick draws through.

Am I using it properly...
Well, unless I'm not doing it right, it doesn't seem to work as well as I thought it would. I sharpened my filet knife, but afterwards when I used it I really didn't see a difference. Again, I may be using it wrong, but if I'm not then nope it's not what I expected. The suction cup works great though - once it's suctioned to a surface it's a bit hard to release it, which is a good thing because it definitely stays in place and won't slip while sharpening a knife.

What a good little device very safe to use and really sharpens knives well but you do have to replace it after a year or so

Easy to use.
This sharpener is really easy to use. Clamp it onto the tabletop and just glide your dull bladed knife thru a few times and test the new sharpness of the blade. For such a simple device I was able to sharpen our pocketknives in less than a minute.

El ángulo pre-configurado de 20° facilita el uso incluso para principiantes, y la capacidad de afilar cuchillos de acero duro, incluso de hoja dentada, es un plus destacado. Compacto, sin cables ni mantenimiento especial, ocupa muy poco espacio. Ideal tanto para renovar cuchillos gastados como para conservarlos en plena forma. Una inversión inteligente para la cocina.
