Must have sewing accessory!
I've had my these lights now for almost 2 years and they are amazing! They are still working perfectly. You are able to change the light from low to high just by holding your finger on the power switch. It offers so much more light and most sewing machines are not lighted enough. These are a really affordable sewing accessory and they are so useful and offer targeted lighting for your sewing. These would also make great gifts for all your sewing friends and family. I wish I new about these sooner.

Short corded dimmable LED Lighting for many of you needs.
Best lighting product for the sewing machine. Works beautifully. Plenty of light and yet just right in size length. Great value for the money. Can be used in other places as it is beautiful white color. Can go anywhere. High Quality.

Works very well and is bright
This light can be attached in a way to get the most light on the flat surfaces of your fabric as you sew. Easy to install, easy press touch to turn it off and on. Cord stays to the back of the sewing machine and is out of the way.

Just what I needed to see better when sewing on my Brother machine
I bought this as a recommendation from a fellow sewing buddy for my machine, and I could not be more pleased! Great quality. Easy to apply. Flexible to fit your machine. Perfect. Highly recommend for sewers!

Twice as much light!
As a new quilter, I’m still finessing my quilting station. When I went to my first quilting retreat, I noticed that a lot of the quilters had these little light strips attached to the underside of their sewing machine arms to amplify their lighting. Went home and ordered this one and VOILA! I have twice as much (or more!) lighting as I did before and it has made a huge difference in the quality of my sewing (oh, OK - and in my seam-ripping, too)! Happy to have this addition to my set up and recommend it to all those using sewing machines.

Excellent lights for the sewing machine.
Works really well for lighting the archway on the sewing machine. My aging eyes were starting to struggle with just the sewing machine light and this was a great addition. Highly recommend!

Totally amazed at how bright this is!!!
I am happy to report that I don't have any negative things to say about this product at this time. The light is really bright but it doesn't hurt my eyes!! I attached the light to my sewing machine. I'm in the process of sewing some crumb quilts ( sewing 1 1/2 inch squares together to form 3 inch x 3 inch 9 patch squares). The light is helping me to see how to match up my seams better before I sew them. The light was delivered fast. I received it within 24 hours of placing my order. The light didn't come with instructions so I watched a how to video on another seller's site AND read a number of reviews on this site about what NOT to do. I also used painter's tape to help me position where I wanted the light to be BEFORE I installed it. I didn't have a problem with it not sticking. I wiped down my sewing machine twice with 70% isopropyl alcohol; letting it dry completely before applying the strip. The light is easy to turn on. Just touch the button. To make the light dim, hold the button for 1 to 2 seconds. To turn it off, touch the button again. Some things to know: 1) You'll have to measure and cut the strip if you have a small machine. My sewing machine is a Singer SewMate so I had to cut. I tripled checked AND marked where I needed to cut BEFORE cutting!! If you cut anywhere else but on one of the little scissor decal lines, the strip won't work. I got that info from someone who did that on one of the reviews. 2) I attached the on/off button to my machine with some Elmers Tack (a removable adhesive), just to keep it from dangling. 3) The electrical cord is long. It's as long as my sewing machine cord, so I used some small pieces of Velcro to stick the two cords together so that they won't get tangled up. Only time will tell how long the light will last. I sew 4 to 6 hours a day 6 days a week, so if it lasts for a year, I will be happy. I will update my review later to let you all know how it is holding up!! December 31, 2023: Just a quick update. I'm still happy with this light!! The only thing that isn't holding up is the tip of the end where I cut it to fit my machine. The sticky part of it came undone, but that was an easy fix. I just used some Elmer's Tack on the end and pressed it back on. Other than that, it's working like a dream. Like I said above, if it only lasts for 1 year (I sew 4 to 6 hours a day, 6 days a week) its worth it.

How did I live without this?
What a luxury to have a super bright light shining on exactly the right place while you are sewing. This light strip installs easily - you just cut it to the right length and stick it on to your machine. So far it sticks well. There is a long cord for reaching an outlet but the only drawback is that you need to deal with that cord when you travel with your machine. However, I really love this light; it sure is helpful.

Come with AC chargers but can't locally as pin design is wrong. Double sided tape is poor. Will not stay stuck around natural bends around sewing machine. Note: cleaned surface area to bond with rubbing alcohol. Held double sided section for over 30 sec to allow adhesive to bond properly, but still lifted after several hours. Fix; Removed and replaced double sided tape with 3M tape and reapplied. Lights work well. Lighting very white and bright. So much better.

I was a little worried that this light wouldn’t stay attached to my sewing machine while quilting, but I jammed material through the throat space as I normally would, and it has stayed exactly where I put it! I’m really impressed!

The lights themselves are great, but the little pieces used to stick them on did not work at all, so I haven’t been able to use them

I am a professional sewer and was excited to use these lights for my industrial sewing machine at work. When I opened the package, I noticed that the top portion of the lights was kind of torn. I cut that part off since it was so small and proceeded to place the lights on machine. I turned it on twice within the span of 5 minutes and the lights stopped working. It was fully working functioning before then just stopped out of nowhere. Such a waste of time and $24.
