Connection issues with printer
Five stars should be four stars. Using the 4G aspect is great however the printer connection to the actual interface is iffy and does affect the performance of the unit itself. I have actually found myself disconnecting the printer in favour for continuity in the interface something that should be considered before buying the printer bundle.

Very poor and not reliable
After 1 year and 3 weeks and only five uses. (still has the original till roll barley used) The printer will not longer charge and cannot be used in conjunction with the reader. Was told that item out of warranty, where is fair use in this. Offered me £40 off new one but can be purchsed cheaper via Amazon or Toolstation.I would advise strongly against purchasing this equipment as it is essential equipment for a trader and not cheap if you have to replace on a yearly basis.AVOID

Perfect.
No problems setting up, fantastic quality, does exactly what it’s supposed to do, flexible and has all the features and information you could need, especially like the free sim built in if you can’t get WiFi connection, it works. It may seem a little expensive but for me it’s well worth the money. Highly recommended.

Read written review.
Saw this card machine at another club and the barman was singing it praises. As a consequence bought one for our club but the captain of the club could not programme it and as asked me to return it and get a refund! In no way do I blame SumUp but believe the unit was not faulty just that nobody was sufficiently experienced with technology to programme it. Hence I tried not to rate it before writing this piece.

Bad quality card machines. Buy something else better.
I have been using Sumup for 2 years. I thought their 3G machine is unreliable, breaking down in less than 2 years. So I bought this new design although it cannot use the old printer, it seems a waste. However, it turns out the new design's reliability is even worst. In the first day it broke down already ! I returned it but I still need to buy a Sumup machine (since I started to use Sumup, switching is so troublesome). This time I bought the old 3G machine again (bundled with printer, again. So I got 2 printers. What a waste). The 3G machine is rating at 4.0, better than the new design at 3.6. I also added a small Sumup machine when it is in discount at £21. I bought the new design in Prime day. So now I paid £50 more for giving it a trial. You know, when the card machine is not reliable, you suffer financially. And there is nothing you can do about it. You will be much better off if you started with a quality machine and supplier. Switching is pain in the ass. Don't be bothered with a £50 or £100 more, you will be better off in the long term.
