SunSense Sensitive Sun Lotion SPF 50+

My mum recommended this to me as I was suffering with brachioradial pruritus - itchy arms as a reaction to the sun. Since reducing exposure to the sun and using this cream when I was in the sun my skin has improved a lot. Your skin does have a blue/white tinge when you use it but this is normal with such a high strength sun cream.

A little cream seems to go a long way. The sun cream is more expensive than other brands but I think better value as it seems to stay all day and I only seem to use a small amount each time so the tube lasts much longer. I have only used it as advertised for my face but I will purchase again when needed.

Very good for sensitive skin. Unfortunately make my face really white and can’t go out until slightly settled but I still use it as it is only one I can use for my skin.

Terrible! No use whatsoever. I bought this specifically for 'sensitive' skin, as I have PLE (Polymorphic Light Eruption) and my face and neck react with a red, itchy rash after any exposure to the sun, so I need to use a very high factor sun cream. This product itself gave me a rash! My skin reacted straight away before any exposure to the sun. Complete waste of money.

Since the skin of my face was sensitised following an allergy to a particular sunscreen, this is the first one I tried which indeed did not cause any problems with inflaming similar symptoms. So it is indeed suitable for some sensitive skin (but not all, as can be seen from other reviews).Unfortunately, it leaves the face looking a ghostly white. similar to the effect seen on some Australian cricketers. Trying to rub it in more doesn't have much effect, although it does look a bit better after an hour or so. Other reviewers have reported similar effects (remembering that the formula may have been varied, and that skins vary). For me, it was unacceptable unless I could find nothing better.Fortunately, from the same manufacturer, SunSense Sport Gel is very much better. I don't think it makes any special claims about sensitive skins, but for me it is also OK.

This is a brilliant sun block, I have used it on all my kids from when they were babies.THIS IS NOT A BASE FOR MAKE UP!It is a thick emollient cream , it leaves a slight white sheen but it really does the job.My son gets a rash on his face from any other sun creams but not this one. Have recommended it to friends with eczema kids and it has worked for them too.Doesn't sting on the face or eyes either.Brilliant stuff!

It has a gentle tint. I have to use f50 sunscreen every day. It is easy to spread, and as my skin reacts badly to makeup this is perfect.

My daughter has eczema and has very sensitive skin this is a great cream I would totally recommend it and I use are on her baby brother too. fabulous sun cream
