Great, sturdy item. I bought this to hold my son’s iPad on a tripod, so his tutor could see his keyboard during his online piano lesson. I had previously bought a plastic iPad holder but it last about an hour before the retaining clip snapped and I had to return it. This one is made of metal and so it’s much more durable. It’s also handy that it has a spring loaded holder for different sized tablets, as well as a stand so it can just be rested on a table top.

Great mount for my iPad. I was more concerned that this was a solid piece of kit rather than worry about the weight. It certainly is as it is made of aluminium rather than plastic.

This is a well designed and sturdy item. However it is important to know that the fitment is for a "standard" 1/4" tripod screw mount. These are usually only found on cheap consumer tripods which screw directly into the camera. Any enthusiast tripod (or mic stand) will have a 3/8" thread mounting screw. While there are both 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes at the base of the holder for directly attaching to a tripod, if you want to use the excellent little ballhead included to allow angling of the ipad you will need to get a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter. These are cheaply available and it would have been nice if one had been included with this otherwise excellent product.

I was surprised at the flexibility of the design. Instructions might have been handy (although being a man I probably wouldn’t have read them).

Have been using this for a while now, and im not disapointed. Has held my Samsung galaxy Tab through all the lockdown and have been using it for family meetings online..Using it with a tripod it keeps the picture still and holds the tablet solid enough. Pretty impressed.

L'adaptateur Vidkio est très bon ! Un aluminium de très bonne qualité, un ressort très dur pour bien tenir l'appareil posé sur ce dernier et une très grande compatibilité. Franchement, rien à dire sur ce point. En revanche, je rencontre deux gros problèmes avec la mini-rotule fournie. Primo : Je trouve que la "boule" au-dessus de laquelle pouvoir orienter l'adaptateur à 360° est trop petite, la rotule étant trop mini également, ce qui signifie que lorsque j'essaye de mettre le support pile à l'horizontale ou à la verticale, il y a des fois où il se penche vers la gauche ou vers la droite, et après cela j'ai souvent du mal à bien le remettre comme il faut. Si je peux donc vous donner un bon conseil : Si vous avez posé votre adaptateur smartphones/tablettes sur cette mini-rotule imparfaite, alors une fois que vous avez bien mis le support à l'angle que vous voulez, ne le touchez que si vous voulez VRAIMENT changer d'angle et rien d'autre. Deuxio : Lorsque je veux tourner la rotule à 360° de droite à gauche, il y a des fois où cela ne marche pas. Étrangement, ce n'est pas tout le temps que cela arrive, mais sans savoir pourquoi exactement, la rotule reste bloquée à l'angle qu'elle est. Et elle ne peut réorienter que quelques temps après. En résumé : L'article est pas mal en soi, mais si jamais vous rencontrez un ou plusieurs problème(s) majeur(s) qui persistent avec cette mini-rotule, alors je vous conseille vivement d'en racheter un autre et de garder votre adaptateur si possible.
