Linear, good tool
I had ordered a Chinese made brand whose description said they were for my gun. They were just a hair too big and wouldn’t fit. I wound up sanding the shanks down so they would fit. The LaBear fit like they were made from my Milwaukee rattle gun.

Excellent, really handy, get the short version first
These are very nice. Very clean manufacture, the "gunmetal" finish is smooth and attractive. I prefer a non-chrome finish for impact work as chrome can chip and flake, producing sharp edges that can give a nasty cut. I'm not sure what this gunmetal finish is, but it's not paint as far as I can tell so must be some sort of relatively thin plating, perhaps with a peened or tumbled finish. In any case, it seems quite nice and has good hand feel. Dimensions and fit are excellent, both at the 1/4" (6.35 mm) hex end and the square drive ends. The ball-detent is firm and holds the socket on well. Just very nicely executed. The little plastic/rubber holder is nice for keeping them from getting spread too far apart in your toolbox. These are super handy, allowing you to give all your sockets power drive with your 1/4" hex impact driver. I do recommend starting with the short version of these if you don't already have them: https://www.amazon.com/LaBear-3-Piece-Driver-Impact-Adaptor/dp/B08DKP8LCS/ and only use this longer version when you need it. The shorter version loses less torque, is easier to place on the fastener, and seems to fit in more spots in my experience. That said, I'm glad to have both because there are plenty of times you need some reach, and a long adapter prevents having to add an extension to the short adapter, which makes for a lot of jangly interfaces to absorb impact. Overall, two thumbs up from me.
