pitaka Carbon Fiber Watch Band for Galaxy Watch 7/6/5/4, 47/46/45/44/43/42/40mm, Slim & Light Watch Band for Galaxy Watch

The stock Samsung watch band that came with my Galaxy Watch 5 44mm was comfortable, but didn't fit properly. The part where the band connects to the watch hinge extended out, so the band didn't swing down from the hinge. This may work ok for people with larger wrists. So I purchased a silicone band for my watch, which I wore for a bit. It was fine, but I had to remove it once in a while due to sweat or itchiness under the band after a workout.Then one day I was introduced to this Pitaka carbon fiber watch band. WOW!! I've been wearing this watch band for a few days now and LOVE IT!! I've been using Pitaka carbon fiber phone case covers for all my Samsung phones since the S8. I love how this watch band matches the phone case AND matches my decked out carbon fiber trim in my Tesla. This band is easy to put on, locks in place, and easy to remove when desired. When the band is installed, the hinge that connects to the watch moves completely down, which is what I want, as it shapes my wrist better. I've been wearing it nearly 24 hours a day, except when I shower. I have no issues with comfort while I'm sleeping or working out. There was a learning curve for me on learning how to remove/attach the links for the watch band since I've never worn this type of band before. I've always worn either a silicone or leather band. Pitaka has multiple tutorial videos for this band which really helped. When I received the box, it was so high-end...the packaging represents Pitaka's quality as that's they want to make a great first impression. Within the box are extra band pins to connect the band to the watch in case one accidently gets shot across the room or falls between the couch cushions while installing the band to the watch. A piece of advice...when removing the band links while adjusting the band to your wrist, there is a small pin in each link as you remove it. Those small link pins do FLY...so try to be in an area where you can hunt down the pins or just simply be prepared to catch it with your hand when you remove the links.The price for the watch band is higher than what I normally pay, but when you think about it...this band is not just a cheap silicone band for $10. This band is high quality, custom fit, super appealing, lightweight and it's something that you wear out in the open all day, everyday...and this same band will likely be able to be used in my future watches.

This watch band looks super sleek on the wrist with the carbon fiber design and feels impossibly light! The quality of this band is what I've come to expect from Pitaka and it matches very well with their phone cases.LIKES:- It's carbon fiber!- The buckle is magnetic, so it's super easy to wear.- Everything you need to adjust the links are included in the box, along with dummy proof instructions.- The band allows the watch to be laid flat (clasped or unclasped) unlike the other typical link bands; this means that you can actually place the watch on the charger that Samsung provides without having to use a charging cradle (but work with a charging cradle too if that's how you roll).- The price point; yes $89 is on the higher end of what I would typically spend on a watch band but well worth the price once you consider the benefits of this band over the others. For example, if you compare this to one of Samsung's more "premium" bands, like the Metal Link Band ($200) or the Magnetic D-Buckle Sport Band ($80), this Pitaka band is a happy medium between the two options above and would be a much better buy given that the other two bands can't even allow the watch to be laid flat.DISLIKES:- The links are a little tricky to remove if you're not used to it at first, so be patient on your first few attempts. Pro tip, when removing the links use one hand to push the pin with the included SIM ejection tool and the other hand to wiggle it out at an angle (do not lay the band flat during removal... you can thank me later).- The band comes with quick release pins but the way it's implemented requires you to use the SIM ejection tool regardless, so this kind of defeats the purpose of the quick release functionality.Overall, it's a good purchase and I highly recommend this watch band. Also, did you know that they also make a version for the Apple Watch!?

Lightweight and looks good but not full carbon fiber and the plastic actual band is soft. The pins are too short (had to buy longer replacement ones). I was sent a replacement part only to have it break again. I don't wear it tight and the band broke while wearing it. Customer service did resolve my issue.

I was waiting Pitaka to come out the carbon fiber watch band for Galexy watch for a while.As soon as they lunch this porduct, I ordered mine.It feels so light is the first thing I noticed when I take it out from the package. The matte finish also makes it feels so smooth in hand.Installation is easy, it tooks me about 10~15mins including adjusting the length. I also like the curved section where it contact watch.The fastener and security lock enabled an effortlessly fasten and remove experience.Overall, it is a great watchband. Especially for those people who like carbon fiber texture and the light weight.

I was hesitant because of the price but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. This is by far the most comfortable watch band I've tried so far. Removing links is a little bit of a pain but otherwise this band is great. Lightweight and comfortable.
