Toda la vida he sido un gamer exigente, siempre me ha gustado juegar videojuegos en las mejores condiciones posibles. Hace poco dejé de jugar en consolas y pasé de un ps5 con barra de sonido a un pc gamer de gama alta pero con altavoces Logitech z407.Los Logitech se dañaron así que consideré que era hora de conseguir unos muy buenos parlantes. Mi primera opción fueron los Razer Nommo v2. Los compré pero quedé bastante decepcionado con ellos. A la final se los terminé regalando a mi padre. Luego, después de indagar por mucho tiempo en la web para poder dar con unos buenos altavoces, llegué a la conclusión de que mi siguiente compra serían los Edifier S351DB.Cuando llegaron, lo primero que me impresionó fue el peso de la caja. Madre mía! Pesaban demasiado y fue un problema llevarlos de la portería de mi condominio hasta mi casa. Me pareció muy simpática esa experiencia.Cuando los empecé a sacar de la caja estaba muy emocionado, porque se sentía la excelente calidad de todos los componentes.Los monté en mi escritorio junto a mi PC y los estrené con nada más y nada menos que DOOM: The dark ages. No les exagero cuando les digo que se me encharcaron los ojos de lo hermoso que sonaban. Todo se escuchaba expectacular. Llevo ya una semana jugando varios juegos como el Doom, overwatch, Silent Hill 2 remake... y en todos los juegos se escuchan muy bien. La verdad estoy bastante feliz con la compra. Una sensación bastante opuesta con respecto a lo que sentí con los Razzer Nommo v2.Algo que hay que tener muy presente es la ubicación del Subwoofer. Al comienzo, lo tenía ubicado como en una especie de "cueva" entrae la pared y una tabla larga en la base de la cama. Esto hacía que los bajos se escucharan con una especie de residuo. No se escuchaban limpios. Por suerte, los cables de estos edifier son bastantes largos y generozos (aunque el de la alimentación no tanto) por lo que pude ubicar el subwoofer en un mejor sitio. Ya ubicado, los bajos se sienten bastantes limpios y sin residuos.

Not bad at all. Had that brand before, and they lasted for ever, so decided to try it again. I do hear some static already after just a couple of weeks, thought maybe some defect, but decided to keep it. Nice bass, but wont blow up the house.

I have for comparison a klipsch promedia 2.1 thx and klipsch promedia 2.1 bt, and an altec Lansing 4.1 set from 20 ish years ago. I would say the promedias are a step up from the AL in all regards with the thx slightly better than bt. Compared to the promedia, the Edifier comes out ahead in detail and clarity and the sub goes lower, HOWEVER when I compare side by side I feel the edifier needs to be listened to from at least 4 feet away otherwise the satellites don't blend well with the sub, whereas the klipsch seems meant to be listened from closer.

I'm an audiophile... been for 30 years. Home theater Arendal 1723 speakers, SVS SB3000 sub, SVS SB2000 sub, Elac DB63 rear surrounds, Eversolo Master Edition streamer and DAC, .... blah blah, you get the picture. So I had great anticipation in getting the Edifier S351 to replace my Logitech 2.1 system at my office desk. The Edifier name carries immense clout and panache. Deservedly so for the most part. So I got these set up. I knew they'd need some break in time, great components always do. But honestly these were a miss. Bummer. First, they ARE great at imaging and clarity and resolution. But the soundstage is very skinny, oddly narrow and lean. No bloom, no depth, no width. And the real dealbreaker for me is no knob on the sub to change volume or integration of the sub with the mains. The whole experience was "thin."So, on a lark, I tried the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 Heritage (the sort of retro looking 2.1 Pro Media system. Good Lord, what a MASSIVE difference. Within 41 seconds I said to myself, "now THIS is what I was hoping for from the Edifier. Humongous sound, with dynamism, authority, immense soundstage. The difference is literally night and day. And 90% of the people who buy Edifier products will never know that something this much better 1. exists and 2. is $100 cheaper.

Have owned for over 3 years now and still enjoy it and does the trick when I want to hear quality in my music, pairs with all my devices and use it as a sound bar for my tv and it really brings movies alive, like my own movie theater

WOW WOW WOW... These speakers are unbelievable. The sound quality is phenomenal. I like a wide range of music and these speakers do not disappoint. When playing Yo-Yo Ma the sounds of the cello literally gave me chills. Kenny G... Sounded like he was in the room playing. Jump over to some Metallica "For Whom the Bell Tolls" that intro... insane on these speakers. Pump up some New Found Glory, or Linkin Park you're like "What?! How does this sounds so good?!"Major Lazer... I started really pumping it up and after a big smile on the bass quality I started thinking "ok I need to turn these down or the neighbors will complain.The sound quality is so rich, it feels so realistic. You can really get absorbed in the music and almost feel like you're at a concert. I highly recommend listening to Chris Botti's "Chris Botti - in Boston (Live)" album with these, track 2 "when I fall in love" really highlights some of the more subtle nuances of the sound quality.I cannot remember the last time I was this happy about a purchase, these speakers would be a good deal at double the price. Highly recommend, they will not disappoint.
