Loft storage
Ordered this to storage documents in the loft, as it’s better to be save than sorry. Case is larger than expected which is great as I store more documentation inside it.

Perfect to Add a Layer of Protection
I have long thought of getting some form of document safe for protection in the event of a fire, so when I got the opportunity to review this, it was perfect. The document case seems to be very well made, but soft. The only problem with things like this is that you have to take the functionality regarding the waterproofing and fireproofing on faith, as let's face it you can't really test it to it's full extent. The case is a good size, big enough for essential items, but small enough so it could be stored in a drawer, or the bottom of a cupboard. This is designed to protect your documents form fire and flood, yes it has a combination lock to keep them secure inside, but this is to prevent prying into personal details rather than theft, as the case itself would be very easy to steal, and that's not what the case is trying to prevent. The zips work well, there are lots of pockets, and the overall construction seems good. It would be useful to scan all your important documents (or all your pre digital photos) too as the case probably won't store everything you want to keep. If you scan them, these could be stored on a flash drive, CD, or external hard drive, and stored in this case too, in the hope that it would survive.Assuming that this does what it says on the tin, then I think that for just over £30 this is good value for money. I like also that the seller says in the event that you forget your code, they will send you a new case if they need to.

Soft case offering some security features for documents
This document ‘box’ (it’s not a box, it’s a soft zippered case) has a combination lock that holds the zips when set. According to the description it’s water and fire proof. The inner lining is shiny and reminiscent of the fireproof suits you see in films. That’s no guarantee of course, so there’s a leap of faith required here.Inside are a variety of slots and folders for storing documents and important paperwork. In terms of security it’s probably best suited to preventing prying eyes, e.g. children. Although it locks, the soft sides won’t prevent a determined person with scissors or a blade from opening it, and of course it’s eminently portable so not protected from theft. It’s probably best to think of it as a document case with some security features.

Hope to never find out if it really is fireproof
Obviously I have to take the claim its fireproof at face value but the bag is at first glance well made. The capacity is good too and it is good to know that were there a fire the important family documents would have at least a better chance than were they not safely contained within.

Really like it.
At time of review this cost £34.99 or Prime £30.39.Daughter has this, as it's been easier to pop all of her business/house/dog insurance papers in one place. It's also hand to keep her passport in it, she keeps mislaying it lol.She says it's got a good amount of room in it and has it in her office, so should anything go wrong, she can grab it and get out quickly. It seems to be made well and has a good lock on it.She has also tried, before putting documents in it, spraying it with water, it passed her test. She's thinking of purchasing another so she has house and business documents separate, mainly as she has way more business things and she's nearly filled it lol.

Good document case, but who's going to test and find out if it really is fireproof?
This is a good sized document case (it's not really a box), with plenty of room for storing vital documents and smaller items of sentimental value, such as jewellery or watches, etc.. There is a removable folder with plastic compartments. There are five of these compartments - they are not coloured, as suggested in the pics, but clear plastic. There are many compartments in the bag, suitable for documents of most sizes, including sixteen dedicated slots for credit cards. I was a little surprised that there wasn't a page containing pockets specifically sized for passports. As shown in the pics, these are just kept in a netting pocket inside, where they would be liable to fall out when the case was moved.Overall, it's a pretty good bag. It has a three-digit combination lock, which would be handy if travelling, but not really much of a deterrent in other situations. Finally, is it fireproof? Who knows? Who's going to pay £35 for an item, and then attempt to destroy it? You just need to take their word for it. Hopefully, it won't matter.

Perfect size for documents
Hoping I don't actually need to use this as it's not easy to test without destroying it.Good space inside to fit a large file organiser or you could use the one provided. It does feel like a glorified lunch bag but it does have some extra weight so I'm hoping it has some more insulation. The outside also feels waterproof. I don't doubt it keeping water out in the rain but I wouldn't go submerging it. The outer material feels a bit tacky.I like the addition of the lock but it is TSA approved so could be opened very easily if someone were to have a key.Good for travelling with a handle and luggage strap. Maybe not so great for the home as it could very easily be stolen unless you secure it to a solid structure.

Does what it needs to
In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Certainly feels well made - will keep documents safe and the smart design looks fine too.+ Main wallets support documents A4 size and there are plenty of them. Mesh pockets allow you to store smaller documents like passports etc.Things I didn't like:- Honestly, I understand why there is a combination lock on it but I would be quite happy without it drawing attention to this otherwise fairly inconspicuous bag.Do I recommend it?Accepting that it is fireproof (without setting it on fire to test it) , then yes, is does everything else that I'd expect it to do.
