This is a really nice scan tool
This scanner has done everything I’ve needed so far , from a 96’ 1 ton Chevy to a 2013 ram

The Mac daddy of scanners
This has everything. And while you pay for it you’re also getting three years of updates which is worth about half of the asking price in and of itself because they really charge a lot for that. It will be interesting to see what they ask to updated in three years. But this is easily the most comprehensive scanning tool I have ever seen .SRS and ABS support. You can adjust every single thing that’s computer controlled in your car. Simply download the appropriate module for what you were trying to do. I was able to adjust sensors. This is just such a capable unit and yeah I know it’s pricey. And it will only get more expensive after three years. But at least in this case you actually get what you pay for instead of less. This is also a pretty sturdy device I think it would be OK to actually keep in the garage it’s rugged enough to survive the life of a mechanic. I’m not a mechanic and I baby my stuff but I think this thing will take its bumps and bruises. Not always a fan of touchscreens but when they are appropriate they were awesome. And this has a touchscreen and it is appropriate it allows me to navigate through the menus much faster than using buttons. This is a great way to keep your mechanics honest as well.

OBD 2 scanner for individuals with a shop
This scanner is a pretty decent scanner. It comes with the ability for many functions however I don’t see it as one that’s worth it for a non shop owner. I personally have a 2018 VW Passat and even though it has many options available not everything works with my vehicle. I was able to update the software free via wifi and to connect it is super easy however this scanner would be best used for someone that works on multiple cars perhaps. I didn’t see much difference from using this expensive device vs my other cheap scanner. The touch function is very up to date with technology but other than looking super cool I don’t see much reason to get this vs a cheaper scanner, especially since after the free three years of use you have to pay to keep it t up to date.

Very Powerful Automotive OBDII Scantool
This is a very nice modern scantool that will allow you to diagnose your vehicle. The unit connects via Bluetooth to your cars diagnostic port. The main unit is a very nice Android based unit with custome software. You can also use the device like a regular tablet for looking up codes and such. The unit has a color touchscreen and fits very nicely in the hand. If you're in the marjet for a powerful bidirectional scantool then this unit is an excellent option.

Easily the most full featured scan tool I have tried
This scan tool is loaded with features. There is nothing I have needed to fix or reset that this tool does not have the ability to address. Some examples that this tool has that many do not:1. I used it to add a transponder key to a Honda Element and a Toyota Prius.2. I adjusted my steering angle sensor on a BMW X5.3. Has SRS module support.4. Has ABS module support, including autobleed.5. Has upgrade ability. You can basically upload the modules for vehicle(s) of your choice.6. Touchscreen! This tool is USB-C rechargeable, and connects with your OBDII port via bluetooth dongle. I have had zero issues getting the device to connect to the bluetooth dongle, and the full charge has lasted 6 hours and still has 40% battery left. Very convenient to not have to use a wired connector. There are so many features that are for a professional mechanic. I don't know what many of them are - but I will be glad to have them if I ever need them! Connect to your WiFi and you have access to upgrades, error code lookup, and you can browse the internet as you would on a computer or tablet if you want to.Bottom line: It is the most expensive scan tool I have reviewed, but that is clearly a "get what you pay for" scenario in this case. This thing is awesome. The only thing preventing 5 stars is that is does not have unlimited software updates (3 years only).

Instructions suck but amazing product
The media could not be loaded. My one gripe first: the instructions this comes with aren't very helpful. I learned more about the features by pushing buttons and trying things out. That out of the way, let's talk about why you need one of these if you want to have good car maintenance. Comes in a great case with a bluetooth enabled scan device (where you would normally plug in a OBD monitor or your dealer would plug in their computer to diagnose problems with your car). This is a more in depth scanner (it can search the internet for videos for symptoms or possible causes). It can remember your cars' histories, if you use this for your small business, you can send invoices to customers. Way better than an OBD monitor and looking up every possible cause for the error code. Great value for your money so your mechanic can't rip you off and say you need something you may not. The tablet is rubberized so it's not so fragile that you won't want to take it in the garage and work on your car. Highly recommend!

Really great software, better Layout, Diverged from ThinkScan
I tested this along with various other OBD2 scanners; I have tested lots of ThinkScan products and this is made by the same Company from what I know. The software is very similar to the ThinkScan stuff I have tested before and this is a good thing; its the newest platform and has lots of long term updates!I can read all the systems in every car I have plugged it into (so far my QX80 and SS) and am able to change settings on some systems.Doing so isn't as hard on these systems because really the User Interface is much better. The fact that its going to be updated for 3 years is actually great for me, I will keep this unit and use it on all my cars for the next years.

Cool
For myself, the connectivity of this did not work. We hooked it up to two different vehicles. It did not do anything so as for updates, Claudia performance, I can’t give any of those because this did not work on our vehicles.
